Here are some other tips that I couldn't really make an entire chapter out of.

✧ make sure the title of your book matches the plot, even if it's just a little bit and your title should be attractive to attract readers.

✧ you can have short or long chapters, but make sure your chapters aren't too long or too short that your readers will get bored. My average short chapter has about 600 words and my average long chapter has about 2000 words.

✧ they say 'don't judge a book by its cover' but let's be honest here, we do it and especially on wattpad. You should make sure your cover is at least decent enough to attract readers. If you can't make a good cover on your own you can always request!

✧ you can also do a question and answer session where readers ask the book characters questions and you can write replies (that make sense for the character).
