Art and Randomness (book 3) (2-in-1)

♡📝 DAY 1 (foundation day 2018)

Today is our foundation week. A day filled for fun and entertainment because we have no school for three days. (It's actually supposed to be a week... But the principal doesn't want us having fun so we only had 3 days). This I actually a yearly event for every paulinian school. (I study at a St. Paul catholic high school)

Ok, I'll be honest. THIS YEAR WAS THE WORST FOUNDATION DAY EVER. I did had a little bit of fun... But Everything else was boring.

Day 1

The first day of "fun". We had the opening of the business fair in the morning. The business fair is an event where students get to run their own business as a class.

This year, we have to sell food, drinks and merchandise inspired from different countries all over the world... And the whole grade level has to work together as one group.

The country that we are supposed to represent is Ireland. Our class is assigned to sell food. We sold Irish cheesy potato bites and Irish champ (aka mashed potatoes). The food was ok.

I spent a lot of money every year during foundation day. Hey! It only happens once a year so why not splurge?

Since there's no rides these year, I spent most of my stuff on food. They were a bit expensive...but they taste good anyways.

The best food I have eaten was some cheesy, creamy macaroni soup... It was by the other section of 8th grade who was also selling food like us. (EliAnBEvang it's the product you are selling 😛)

I had to study for a quiz bee that will take place on the following day. I was with one of my classmates and for a while we studied together. The studying was worth it tho! I'll explain what happened later on.

Then for the rest of the day I spent my time with my squad... We played with uno cards... We chatted and talked... Normal friend stuff... (There was a time they left me by myself to buy some food tho. But it's ok :V)

I think Karl knows that I like him now! Me and my friend were talking with each other about him and we didn't know he was behind us. I wasn't sure if he overheard...but I don't really care if he knows. I just hope he doesn't treat me differently.

And that was the first day! It was boring without the rides and it lacked activities... But I enjoyed it a little bit.
