MIRANDA'S POINT OF VIEW.
"Miranda!" Kate, my best friend, cheered as she saw me eating in the cafeteria during lunch. She dropped a pink invitation onto my lap and plopped down next to me.
"What's this?" I asked.
"It's a party invitation to the best party in the history of parties," she sighed dramatically. "And you're invited. Also, everybody else got invited by Michael but I begged him to let me invite you." Kate had a huge crush on Michael Clifford, soccer star at our school, and they were good friends. Michael didn't know.
"So it's Michael's party, not yours," I said slowly. Kate nodded. "Nope. I don't like Michael, he's a bad influence."
"How can you say that? You love his band!"
"Kay, it's a garage band that does covers, don't give him that much credit," I laughed.
"It's actually a goodbye party, 5 Seconds of Summer got signed." Kate smiled. "Just come, please. Cal will be there."
I stopped chewing and looked at her, my eyes widening. She knew that I had the biggest crush on Calum, who just so happened to be in the band. I didn't know much about their band, other than that it consisted of kids in our grade. I knew that Calum and Michael were in it, but that's all. "No way."
"Yeah," Kate pressed. "So you're coming."
"Fine, whatever." I sighed as Kate cheered again. I rolled my eyes and continued eating.
I smoothed out my hair once more before checking to see if I was at the right house. A girl was sitting on the porch. I recognized her as Kate. "Hey!" she smiled.
After we hugged, I asked, "This better be good. "Should we go in?" I asked.
She nodded. "I was inside earlier, but it was awkward. I was the only one in there. So I sat out here and waited until somebody I knew got here. And here you are."
"Here I am," I sighed and we both walked inside. Two guys were setting up their stuff.
"Hey," a boy with curly hair waved from behind his drum set. I waved back. "I'm Ashton, I'm the drummer of Michael's band."
Kate tensed beside me. "Hi, Ashton. I'm Kate." Ashton giggled in response.
"Aw!" I whispered. "Love at first sight!"
"Shut the fuck up." Kate snapped.
"I'm Luke, I'm one of the guitarists. I've seen you around school," he pointed to Kate. He then pointed to me. "But I don't know you."
"I'm Miranda." I said as Kate and I walked into the kitchen.
Michael nodded in our direction. Calum was there, too. He smiled and I died a little inside. Michael cleared his throat. "I'm Michael."
I crossed my arms. "I know."
"Kate tells me that you think I'm a bad influence."
"That's right," I said.
"Well, here," he tossed me a can of beer, and surprisingly, I caught it. "Drink up, Miss Uptight. You need it."
"Call me uptight and I'll fuck you up, Clifford." I snapped and then looked at the beer. "But I need something to take the edge off."
I looked at Calum and he nodded. I sighed and opened the can, taking a drink of it. My throat didn't burn, but it certainly didn't taste good. "Okay, whatever. Go and play your show, if you're gonna."
"I'm not drinking," Kate informed me. I nodded.
The four of us walked out of the kitchen and to the living room, where the stuff was set up. Twenty more people were there. I didn't even notice them come in.
After an hour, the party was booming. The boys' music was very good, and I was very drunk. I didn't realize that I was suddenly upstairs with a someone I didn't know

When I woke up, I didn't remember a thing. Only a really hot stranger and too many beers. I was cuddling with the person, my head on their bare chest. I realized it was a dude and I was in a bed. I slowly untangled myself from the stranger and yawned. I stretched and then froze.
It was Calum.
"Oh my god," I said a little too loud. Calum woke up and smiled.
"Hello, beautiful." he smirked.
I was taken aback by his words. Just as I was about to reply, I looked down and blushed. I was naked. "This is so bad!" I whimpered as I rushed to the gather my clothes.
"What's wrong?" he smiled and I gave him a look. "You don't regret anything, do you?"
"What did we do?" I asked frantically. "Once I know, I'll decide if I regret it or not."
"Well, your mouth works wonders, that's for sure. It was quite honestly the best sex I ever had."
I almost threw up at his words. "We...we...?"
"Yeah," Calum nodded.
I found myself running out of Michael's house full speed, like I was trying to run away from everything. I didn't realize that running away wouldn't be that easy.

Two weeks later, I found myself sitting in Planned Parenthood with Kate. "You sure you weren't raped?" she asked.
"Yes, Calum wouldn't do that to me." I said. "Well, after their big break, I'm not sure what he's doing to people."
I kind of lost my mind as we sat there. If I was pregnant, it would be bad.
Calum was long gone from this town, along with my best friend and their bandmates. "Ms. Hallie?" the nurse asked me. I looked up from my spot in the waiting room. "You and your friend can go into the doctor's office, he has the the results."
I let out a shaky breath as Kate and I followed her into the doctor's office. He sat there looking at papers. "Ah, hello." he smiled when he looked up. "I'm Dr. Juarez. I have the results of your pregnancy test." I nodded and Kate held my hand. "You are, indeed, pregnant. We have many options here..." I didn't hear what he said after that. I was only seventeen, what the hell?! I was going to be eighteen when I had this baby. I wasn't nearly ready to make it on my own. I didn't know what I was going to do.
