Ireland ~
I needed Kayden by my side at this moment. He would calm my nerves, he would whisper to me that everything would be alright.
But I didn't bring him with me for a reason.
Over the time stamp of a few days I had recieved several texts and calls, most of them belonging to Kayden, but they also consisted of calls and texts from my parents and from Grayson (Dylan ties in with Grayson's actions here).
My fingers dialed the numbers of Kayden's number, but I made sure I made it so my number would come up as "Blocked" or something.
"Hello?"
His voice sounded drained, and it seemed like he was crying for... forever... And it was all my fault.
"Hi" I whimpered into the phone, ready for any yelling or screaming. "Ireland? Come home please" Kayden's voice remained soft and drained, but none-the-less, he sounded happy. "Not yet" I mumbled into the phone and stepped away from the door of my father's office.
A sniffle erupted on his line and someone blew into a tissue, "Please I need you" he whispered and I could almost feel my heart breaking along with his. I knew he was crying right then and there.
"Kayden trust me. I'll be home soon, I just- I'm going to find out what's wrong with me" My fingers hovered over the 'end call' button, but I didn't tap it. "I have to go, I love you" I whispered and waited for the 'I love you' in return.
When all I heard was a sob, I didn't wait any longer, I ended the call and wiped stray tears from my cheeks.
I was putting Kayden and I through Hell all because I wanted to find out what I was. How fucking selfish.
"Ireland?" A deep voice asked and I turned and saw Jason, one of Kayden's friends, taking a seat in a chair besides where I was standing. "H-Hey" I asked uneasily. Jason had always flirted with me, that's how Kayden got expelled and that's why he could come to Ireland, Jason and Kayden got into a rough fight. Jason was in the hospital for a few weeks I think.
"Where's your arm candy? Break up with you?" He asked, smirking as I wiped away the tears. "No actually" I spoke confidently all of a sudden. "He's back home, I'm here just meeting up with my father" I replied.
Jason and I chatted, I was on edge the entire time. Then my dad walked out the door, first his eyes connected with Jason's and he sighed and shook his head. Then he saw me and his eyes almost popped out of his skull.
