Sasha's P.O.V ~

The wind travels a harsh path to the waves in my hair, blowing the streaks of magenta back with a mighty force.

Freedom.

In every sense of the word.

No strings to hold me back, no restraints. I feel like a bird soaring carelessly through the sky.

Seth drives the rental Chevy Bel Air around the sights of Ireland as we near our destination further.

His hand stays locked with mine, caressing my knuckles as he cruises smoothly down the streets.

Aviator sunglasses guard his chocolate eyes from the setting sun and his hair stays down in a wild mess just like mine.

We've walked around the city here and there but we haven't yet been on a nice drive like this.

This car contains a dilapidated tape player, Seth and I came prepared.

Johnny Cash is pulsing over the speakers in a mellifluous rhythm whilst singing about walking the line.

There is one billion and one things Seth and I have in common and our love for Johnny Cash is one of them.

Which is why the scene is set just as it is.

Windows down, vintage Chevy, Johnny Cash, and our hands intertwined because we just need to be close to each other.

Seth's raspy voice hums along to the song and I lean my head back to listen.

My eyes close, relishing in how relaxed the environment is.

At a red light Seth changes the tape to a Dean Martin classic.

My favorite.

He knows that.

Hey, mambo, mambo Italiano
Hey, mambo, mambo Italiano

Go, go, go you mixed up Sicialiano
All you Calabraise-a do the mambo like a crazy with a-

He knows me so well.

My heart swells and I bite my lip before looking over to a beaming Seth.

I blow him a kiss and he reciprocates as the light changes green.

Our journey cruises on until we spot a corner donut shop that reminds us of the one we used to go to a few years ago.

Memories...

They haunt me.

Except this time around, the memories are the ones that make me smile...

~~~
"I can't believe they're showing this tonight." I grin at Seth as he pulls in to the dark parking lot.
He nods in agreement,
"Yeah. The Godfather is a classic."
