Chapter 3: The Mysterious Girl

MATTHEW'S POV
6:19 pm
I came inside the venue of the debut of my sister. 'I won't miss it, I won't miss it...' I said to myself. I ran toward the lady in the lobby.

"Uhh... where can I find miss Sofia Ramirez rented room?" I asked the lady in the lobby.

"Go to room 30 sir. Second floor." She said in a flirty way. Yuck! Eunha's better than you perv!

I didn't say thank you. I ran towards the elevator. I meet a lady who has her head bent.
She wore an off shoulder dress and a 4 inch high heels. And a pink and white colored hair with a curly in the end. She is really beautiful but she has her head bent.
I pressed the second floor. She's into second floor too? Maybe Sofia's friend...
The door of the elevator closed. It went up in the first place but stopped suddenly,

Crash...
Blag..
Shoot! I stood up and helped the lady beside me by offering my hand but she won't take it. What a rude person!
I quickly grabbed my phone when the lights of the elevator  turned off and on suddenly.
I tried to open the door of the elevator but it won't budge.

Then the lights went permanently off. I turned on the flashlight of my cellular phone, I pressed the emergency button on the elevator but it didn't work.

"Help! We are stuck!" I shouted but nobody answered.
I looked at the girl in the back.
"Uhmm. I am Matthew. Who are you?" I asked.

"Oh hi... I kn-"

(Phone ringing)
"Ahh, sorry! I need to answer this!"
I looked at caller's ID. It's Sofia! I quickly answered my phone.

(Where the hell are you kuya Matt?! My debut is starting!) I hears Sofia's voice in a sad tone but shouting.
(I am so sorry Sof, but i'm stuck on the elevator with one of your guest, probably.) I looked at the girl, still has her head bent.
(I'll call the management kuya!) She quickly turned off the phonw then I looked at the girl.
"So, who are you again?" I asked her.
"Nevermind..." she replied. What did I did?

I stood up stiffly beside her.
After some time, the lights of the elevator turned on then the elevator worked. The door opened then I ran.

I can't miss the opportunity that my sister is turning 18 years old!
When I saw the proper room, I quickly went outside (the door was already open!) then I saw Sofia and Dad and Mom and Almost everybody.

"I'm glad you came Kuya." Sofia said and cried.
"Don't cry my little sister." She looked at me.
"Thank you for not lying to me." She said to me. What? I will lie to her at her own debut?! No way, high way!

"I won't. It is your special day. Be a princess and feel free. You are all grown up, aren't you? Go back to your throne and sit like a grown up. I am proud of you Sofia!" I said. She smiled, wiped her tears. She don't like waering make up so nothing didn't went bad at her pretty face.

I went to the round table with my friends and sat.
"You kept your promise Matt. I'm impressed!" Christian said. I gave him a death glare. She cringed back in his chair then looked away from me. That's how you teach a little bastard.

"Good evening everyone! As we all know that this day is a very special day for all of us." The emcee started.
"We celebrate this huge party for your little princess, now a grown up. Miss Sofia." Something caught and drawn my attention at the door. It was the girl in the elevator.

It's Eunha...
She's the girl i'm with inside the elevator...

She sat down with her friends. She seems friendly now. Before she's an introvert, but now, she's friendly.
"Let's give it up for miss Arlene Ramirez. A.k.a Sofia's mom!" The emcee shouted. I clapped my hands very loudly. Who cares if they look at me? Its my parent!

"Oh thank you! Good evening everyone! Especially to my beautiful little baby girl, Sofia. Now, all grown up!" Mom's tears fell down. Sofia made a pretty smile.
"Thank you for helping us. You are the icing of our cupcake, the jam in our bread, our smiles in our mouth and love in our heart." Mom said while being dramatic. She made some crowd cry.
"I am sorry if we are not always herw for you. But we will be always be right here." Mom touched her chest. Ohh. So sweet.
My tears went down and I feel that I have a very loving parents.
"You will be always our little princess, Sofia. We accept you. We cared about you..." mom said. She's crying very much now but she's still trying to speak. Even Sofia became emotional.

"We love you always Sofia. As a mother. Also your father, your kuya and your whole family Sofia." She said then she puts the gift in a table. Mom came back where she sat.

"Thank you for your heart-warming speech miss Arlene. Next is Mister Carlos." Dad stood up. The emcee gave the microphone to dad.
"Sofia, I always know that I have been busy. I am so sorry. But you know that all my hardwork is for you and your Kuya. I always remember you when I am busy. I always think that you are the greatest achievement in my life following along with your mother and brother. You are tge greatest gift that God gave me. And nothing will stop me from loving you my little angel. I know your boyfriend is here. Whoever you are, if you hurt my little princess, you'll face my consequences. I'll kill you." Dad joked. The crowd laughed.
"But please, take care of our daughter. Thank you." He sat down.

"Thank you too for the speech mister Carlos Ramirez. And now for another speech from your brother, mister Matthew Danielle Ramirez." Huh? I didn't say I want to.

No choice! The show must go on...

I'll do anything in this world for my precious, little princess.....
