Chapter 13

"What time is it?"

Jack and I had spent the whole day together.

"It's ten, but who cares! We gotta finish this movie!" Jack said and kissed my head.

We were watching Forest Gump.

"I wasn't going anywhere! I already know the ending anyways."

Jack and I were laying on a couch with a big bowl of popcorn. I was laying with my head in Jack's lap and he was stroking my hair.

"Well don't tell me what happens." Jack said.

I laughed and said, "I can't believe you've haven't seen this movie before! It's a classic! And it's my favorite movie."

"Well now I'm glad I'm watching it."

Jack leaned down and kissed my lips. I kissed him back.

"I'm so glad you actually came here today." Jack said.

"Me too." I said with a smile.

"When are you going back to Colorado?" Jack asked.

"I was planning on heading back a week from today." I replied.

"Oh... I'm leaving on Monday."

It was Thursday.

"Hey we'll spend more time together." I said and kissed Jack's hand.

Jack smiled at me and asked, "Wait where do you live in Colordao?"

"Colorado Springs. You?"

"Denver."

I thought for a moment.

"Well Colorado Springs and Denver aren't too far away from each other. About an hour and a half away. We could see each other on weekends!" I said.

"Oh yeah that's true! Thank god. I couldn't last too long without seeing your beautiful face." Jack said.

Well Jack certainly felt more comfortable around me. He was even sweeter.

Jack and I talked through the whole movie and through most of the night.

Around three am, I fell asleep with Jack.

We slept until eleven am.

I guess Jack got up before me because he made me breakfast.

I woke up to a plate of bacon and pancakes.

"Nice hair." Jack laughed.

My hair has always looked horrible when I woke up in the morning.

"Shut up, but thanks for the breakfast."

I ate my food and talked with Jack.

"Are you doing anything today?" I asked Jack.

"Ugh yeah I gotta go over all my PowerPoint slides for another presentation." Jack sighed.

"Oh that's fine. How many freaking presentations and meetings do you have to do?!"

"Too many." Jack laughed.

"I'll leave you to go over your notes in quiet." I said as I put my plate in the trash.

I brushed my hair and gathered my things.

"Bye Jack!"

"Wait!"

Jack rusher over to me and pushed me up against the room door and kissed me.

I wrapped my arms around Jack's neck and kissed him back.

"Bye hun." Jack said when he pulled away from me.

I waved goodbye and left the room.
