Until I jerked awake. I was still on the train with Gray, but nothing had happened. I took a deep breath. I couldn't help it any more.

"Gray sama?" I asked tentatively.
"Ya Juvia?" he asked, and I felt relieved to heard his gentle voice.
"Gray sama- I- I-... I love you..." I trailed off and looked up hopefully. Gray was looking out the window, so I couldn't see his expression.

He stayed silent.

"Gray sama? do you love Juvia back?" I asked hopefully.

"J-juvia.... I- uh..." Gray stuttered until the train slowly stopped and the announcement came on that we can get off.

He abruptly stood up, his bright red, and opened the compartment door to the rest of the gang there.

"We should go Juvia," he said quickly before sliding out.

I sat there, looking at my hands and felt a tear drop land in my hand. No Juvia, you mustn't cry. Stay strong. I told myself as I stood up and followed the others out of the train.

Gray POV

Soon we arrived at the guild, and everyone continued their usual activities. I noticed Juvia spent less time around me and more time alone. I felt kind of bad for her.

"Gray?" I heard Erza behind me a few days after the job.
"I need to talk to you... alone." She said serious, and I tensed up as I followed her outside.

"Listen Gray, you need to stop pretending to be oblivious about Juvia." She said sternly.

"I dunno what your talking about," I said avoiding her eye contact.
"Yes, you do. Have you seen her lately? whatever you've done to her has broken her spirit. I order you to spend more time and be nice to her." She said harshly and walked back into the guild.
"What am I gonna do.... how- how do I feel about Juvia?" I whispered to myself.

Juvia POV

I looked up to see Gray walk into the guild after Erza, but I don't feel jealous. I averted my eyes back onto the drink I was holding and continued to play with the straw. I concentrated on the thoughts running through my head.

Should I leave Gray sama alone? He clearly hates me, I said sorrowfully. Maybe I should forget about him. Remember what Lucy said about the fish.

I was so deep in my thoughts, I didn't notice someone walk up behind me.
