Chapter 4

Unknown POV

I watched as Juvia and the ice boy walked home after their night together. I would've attacked right then, but boss told me to wait till the right time. It will be soon enough...

Gray POV

After the festival ended and we returned to the guild, I woke up the next morning and noticed Juvia wasn't there when I got to the guild hall.

"Gray!" I turned around to see Lucy running towards me with a huge grin on her face.

"Yeah, Lucy? what is it?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Natsu and I were watching you two last night!" I blushed a little, but looked away so she couldn't see. "And?" I asked. "Well, are you and Juvia a thing now?" she said, hopping up and down excitedly.

"Course not." I replied before imagining what that would be like. I decided against the idea when I realized how it would be.

"Aw, come on Gray! You're so cu-" "I said no, didn't i?" I cut Lucy off midsentence. "I only went on that date cause Erza made me, alright? I DO NOT like Juvia." I said harshly before turning to see a certain bluenette running away from the guild.

"Oh shit.... JUVIA!" I exclaimed, realizing what had just happened. I searched for her everywhere and eventually found her in the park under the cherry blossom tree.

She was rolled up in a ball, clenching in of her creepy doll things. As I got closer, I heard small sobs escape her, and instantly, guilt washed over me.

I sat down next to her and tapped her in the shoulder. "G-Gray s-sama?" she stuttered, her puffy red eyes widening.

"Yeah, it's me. Are you okay?" I asked and she just stood up.

"Juvia has to go, Gray sama. Juvia will see you around," she said quickly before running off towards Fairy Hills.

I sighed in frustration as I debated on what to do about Juvia.

Juvia POV

I ran into my room and slammed the door. As I collapsed on my bed, I heard a rustling noise from outside. I whipped my head towards the window to see it wide open and someone running away.

I noticed a note on the windowsill. I carefully unfolded it and analyzed its hasty scribbles.

Juvia,

Meet us at the guild hall entrance. I've found a job, and we can't do it without you.

The next day

I was kinda doubtful about joking the gang for the mission since i still didnt know what to do about gray, but decided I'd still help them.

As I walked to the guild entrance, I saw that there was no one but Gray standing outside of the guild hall. I stopped walking and froze as Gray spotted me.

He smiled and ran towards me. Not knowing what to do, I turned and started to walk away when I felt his hand tighten around my wrist. He pulled me towards him and I fell into his arms. He wrapped his arms around me and held me close.

I looked up at him, my eyes starting to water as memories of yesterday flashed through my mind.

Gray sighed and pulled away from the hug. "I'm really sorry Juvia, I didn't mean what I said yesterday..", He muttered, looking down.

I widened my eyes as I realized what that meant. "D-does that mean that Gray-sama loves Juvia back?" I asked hopefully.

Gray ignored my question and looked up at me with a faint blush and a small smile. "Would you like to go on a mission with me?"

Guys I'm so so so sorry I haven't updated in forever! I kinda forgot that wattpad existed, plus I got distracted with other stuff. But hopefully I'll post more often. Leave I like and a comment on ideas for future chapters!
