"Son, stop running in the courtyard," King James said as his son Michael. Michael stops dead in his tracks and looks at his father.

"I'm sorry, father, I'm just so happy; today is my birthday," Michael said happily. Today was his 19th birthday. He is going to become king. King James chuckles and walks towards his son.

"Today you get to become king of the castle, and this is a big thing you know," King James stated. Michael standed up straight to match his father's seriousness.

"I know dad, I'm well aware of this," Michael said as his father sighed." I know what is to be done for this kingdom remember I learned from the best"

"I guess you are right but before you become king you are going to have to give a speech" King James said and Michael's smike turn into a frown.

"No one told me I had to do a speech" Michael said as his anxiety started to build.

"I'm just messing with you" King James chuckles as his son rolled his eyes. They began to walk the halls and talked about the good old times. King James smiled at his so,n thinking about how much he grew and wondering what would have happened if the Warlock Lord survived that attack,k but the thought slipped awad.

"Father, what time is the party" Michael asked.

"Noon" King James said and Michael hugged his father and said his goodbye to go see his friend. When Michael got to his secret cave hideout there stood Henry smiling with a gift in hands.

"Henry, you shouldn't have" Michael said grabing the gift but Henry snatched it away. "Really, give me my gift"

Henry stayed quiet and Michael sighed. He walked closer to Henry and gave him a kiss. Henry smiled and gave him the gift. Michael opened and it was a bracelet with his name on it.

"Thank you " Michael said giving Henry a big hug. I pull away and see Henry's face was sadden." What is wrong"

"I have to leave for war tonight" he answered looking his beloved in the eyes with sadness.

"Fate has plans for us and I feel like fate will bring us together again once this is all over" Michael stated with wisdom and love. He planted a kiss on Henry a cheek and bid his goodbyes as he returned to the castle.

It was about noon and all the town's folk and leaders came to the celebration. Michael was nervous to stand in front of all those people as a king and not a prince but with his father by his side he felt confident. Michael walked out of the castle doors and the people cheered to see their new king.

"I am honored that I could be here to be your king, I've can't say I'm ready but who is, we are humans, we were never ready for change but we adapted and that is what made us stronger and smater," the crowed cheered on and his father looked at his son with pride. "My first enactment as king is to start an alliance'swith other lands so that we can stay and feel strong " the people began to clap and cheer louder.

Michael's father put his hand on his son shoulder and smiled at the people. The festival continued on, the people danced, and drink. Micheal hanged out with some elf folk and laughed about the good old days. The moon shined in the sky and the party dwindle hour by hour.

Michael walked into the castle to his room and took off his crown and set it on his dresser. He sighed and looked at the moon from his balcony. Sometimes he felt someone was looking back at him as he looked at the moon a little bit longer he heard a distant voice.

"I'm coming for you"

Michael shook his head thinking he had to much to drink. Michael laid in his bed and closed his eyes. He soon fell into a dreamless.
