chapter 2 - A successful day

I was still disturbed by my dream. I looked the time at my phone & saw it was 4 in the morning. I decided to get some fresh air & so went to the balcony.
It was fresh summer morning, the cool air slightly blew my hair, and i just got lost in my own thoughts, about those beautiful blue eyes, how hypnotising it was.
   I decided to went for a walk & dressed into track & cool tee. I walked around the nearest park, spend some quality time with myself. on my way back i got a msg & opened my inbox & saw that its my typical friends. I smiled at their silly jokes they keep sending on our group "Powerpuff girls" . Funny i know.
       Why are they even awake so early? i watched the time & saw its 6:30 already. so i hurried to home. I directly went upstairs and take shower for 20 min. After i finished my morning quests i joined my parents for breakfast.
     We went over our plans & strategy once again after breakfast. we were all set & ready. My dad was really proud of me & happy with my plans. while my mother was just sitting before us hearing us discussing the business with a content smile.
     I'm not the only daughter of our family. i have a big brother & a sister too but my sis got married early with the guy she loved & my brother is into music & acting. so my parents didnt force them to take over the company. Instead they supported them & helped them. so both my parents are really happy that i got myself into the field of business without them pressuring me.
     I am happy too. i love making strategics, forming plans, organizing things & leading. it has always been inside of me to take the lead. so i was pretty happy myself being a business women.
     It was 9 am & i went upstairs to get ready for today meeting. I choose simple yet elegant looking dress for my first day. it a dark blue little head which ended a little above my knees. i did my makeup, dark blue eyeshadows to match with my dress, eyeliner & mascara. i used a light pink lipstick. My hair was in perfect curls & i finished my looks with a dark blue stilletos.
   Looking myself in a mirror, i smiled. i looked bold & elegant.
  I reached The company at 10:30, leaving enough time for me to go over the plans once again. I reached the meeting room at 10:50, where i greeted our business partners, managers & other important people.
       I heard that Mr. Rae had already arrived at our building & is having a cup of coffee with my father. So they will soon be here.
He came here along with his advisor & Manager.From what i had heard He has a son too. I wondered why he wasnt handling his family business. Maybe he was just like my brother i thought.
     Being a punctual Man, Mr. Rae & My father arrived at the meeting hall at 11 sharp. Mr. Rae even at his mid forties looked well build, young & handsome. He smiled as soon as his eyes found me.
    I forwarded my hand for a handshake. Good Morning Mr. Rae, pleased to meet u. He give me a warm smile & replied with a handshake saying, Pleasure is all mine beautiful young lady. Your daughter is so pretty D' he said to my father. My father name is Danial & being a friend for so long they just use eachother initials for name.
   I smiled at Mr. Rae and he greeted our other employees with whom he looked familier with. soon after the greetings we started with our plan. I explained them how we can put our company forward as one in this project, our strengths, strategics & so on. They asked me a little question here & there about their doubts & i made them clear.
   After 2 hours of going through the plans in detail. I ended my presentation. Everyone looked pleased & impressed with my work. & i couldn't ignore the proud smile of my father.
    Everyone praised me while shaking hands & promising to do their best in this project. At last it was time for Mr. Rae to part, He came near me & patted my back.
That was such a wonderful plan my dear, u have a vision, farsightness & a clear mission on how to achieve it. Thats really impressive. I wish i had a daughter like you. He smiled a longing smile at me.
sure u do, my father replied.
Well my son aint going to invest any of his brain in business. so yes i do wish i had a daughter too.It must be great having such responsible, smart & beautiful daughter helping u D' , Mr. Rae said to my father.
    Indeed it is. my father gave me a side hug.
    Maybe i can have her as my daughter, Mr. Rai said with a huge grin on his face.
    Of course she is ur daughter too Ray, father replied.
    yes she is but i have another meaning in that, if u can take a hint Mr. Rae replied again.
     Ohh...!! my dad exclaimed. well i havent thought about it. but yes she is of age now. Father replied back.
     I caught into their hints & suddenly i blushed. I couldnt hear anymore of their talks so i just freed myself saying. " you guys wished".
    I hear them laughing a heartly laugh from outside the hall. what were they even suggesting?? That was absurd. How can i marry a man i dont even know. Thats never going to happen.
    I went home after the meeting & had a long shower, thinking about the day. well.... today was a successful day.
I just relaxed the whole day, treating myself with lots of ice creams & chocolates. I drift off to sleep in the middle of the movie i was watching. and once again... i saw the man with a blue hypnotic eyes.
