Chapter 3 - Dinner Night

I woke up early this morning as well, what was going on with me. I never woke up before 9 for months but now after the dream of that blue eye guy I'm starting to wake up before 5. That's insane... And what's with my dream anyway. Ugh..!! I was actually frustrated today because the feelings he gave me even if it's just a dream was so surreal. They gave me goosebumps and somewhere in my mind I wished that it was real but when I wake up its all gone.

  Leaving all the things aside I went to bathroom and became fresh. Well... Today is a new day and I'm going to make it count. 😉 It didn't take long for me to get back to my cheerful side. I went for run and came back but with a little pup in hand. When I was on my way back I found this cute lil puppy following me. It didn't take long for me to figure out that he lost his master. He has his name written in his collar "KURAMA".
             I tried to find his master asking around with people but I couldn't find them and I couldn't leave this sweet lil pup there alone so here I am at my home with kurama.
            I found my mom in the kitchen and as soon as she saw kurama in my hand she cooed at him. I laughed at the sight because I actually find my mom cute while she was awwing kurama. I told her about him and how he was left alone.. And she went to kitchen to grab him some milk and cookies. Kurama was a well kept doggie... He seems so hygienic and clean. His owner must be dying to find him. I mean why not?? I would be too if I had a cute pup like him and lost it in a huge park.
              
           I finished my breakfast and went upstairs to my room leaving kurama with mom. She told me that father was already out with Mr. Rae on breakfast date. They sure seem to be the best buddy cause my father never ate breakfast outside of house unless he was out of town.
             I took a long shower. I actually like to bath a lot. And the smell of my body wash. It's natural citrus smell... Its so refreshing.
            I got out and blow dried my hair. I took out white chiffon shirt for today wear and black silk high waist pant and a black blazer. I put my hair in a high ponytail and put a minimum amount of make up with blood red lipstick. I completed my look with black high stilletoes. I grabbed my phone and put it in a purse. While doing so I noticed I had so many notifications of messages that needed my attention.
           Thinking that I will see it later.. I grabbed my car keys and went downstairs. I saw mom with kurama in the living room playing. Mom actully needed that. She seems more happy in the company of kurama. I kissed her on her cheeks and played with kurama's fur saying bye bye and see you later.

    When I reached office it was 10:45am. I hated being late. Its better to reach early than making others wait. I went to dad's office and find him and Mr Rae having a laugh. I smiled a light smile looking at them.
May I join in on the laughter gentleman.. I said to them to which they laughed heartily in return. I took a sit in one of the chairs and listened to there stories.
       Soon after that we went to discuss some important things about project. I actually didn't have anything more to do here. I wanted to work as an stratigist and so I laid out the best possible plan for this project now the rest was upto each department managers and employees. Oh and my father of course.. He is the ceo of our company D' consolidation. But as our opinion went on I feared more and more when he said that he will be announcing me as The new CEO of the company.
       Well... I never asked for that. I was only helping. I don't want to get myself involved into this. Not at least this soon. I need time... I mean I want to work under him for some year to figure things out. Where was the hurry?? I pointed all this things out to my father to which he seemed sad but understood my position. So being the most loving father he is he agreed to postpone it for 2 years from now.
 
      Uff...!!! That was quite a lot to take. I was actually in need of air after the long conversation with my father. I told him I have nothing more to do and checked everything else. I was about to go home when he stopped me in my tracks. I looked at him as he said Mr Rae and his family will be joining us to dinner tonight. So might as well help my mother with the dishes.
      Well I knew for what he needed my help with. I just said will do dad and gave him a kiss on the cheek and left.
      So... I won't be having any rest after I got home. Well my mother would be overdoing things as usual. Whenever guests would come to our home mom always made sure they would have something extra on their plate. While I was always taking care of the desert part. Well yah... I love to bake. My love for cooking came from my mother. She loves to cook and may I say that she cooks damn delicious. 😋
    As I reached home I found mom already in the kitchen. I knew it though.... I took a water from fridge and told her ill be right back to help her. I went upstairs and changed into an oversized t-shirt and shorts.

     After about 2 hour we were done with the foods. I left to go upstairs to shower and change. I picked a velvety red dress for today. It fitted my body perfectly in the right places.
    I went downstairs and helped my mom make the table ready and with flowers.. And soon, the doorbell rang.
