Have you ever been so worried or scared about something, that you’re just absolutely numb? That’s how i felt. My heart thumped along, moving my blood throughout my body. My ears were ringing so loudly that i didn’t want to have them anymore. As the color of my room grew dark, the noise of the commotion grew even louder. What shocked me most, was the color of his eyes when my walls caved in. All i could see was the iron filled color, laced with the deep green, that i’d come to look forward to seeing everyday. It was my perfect picture. Except there was something wrong with this particular picture. Those eyes were his. Or they looked like his, but they were attached to the wrong body. To the wrong face and they were filled with too much rage and sadness. I’d never seen anything but kindness in those eyes. Pieces of my shattered windows danced around what i assume would be his body. Cutting deep and sticking into him. The sight was terrifying. I watched in tears as he turned everything i’d come to call home, into dust and ash. No mere human should be able to do that. Was he even a human? This isn’t Tybren. I refuse to believe it. The heat coming from his body was almost electrifying. As my tears turned into sobs, the heat turned into fire. Surrounding him completely, covering every inch, of everything Tybren had ever given to me from his side. He suddenly seemed to notice me. To see that i was actually there and who i was. The monster in his eyes died down. I saw peace, and maybe happiness. But his body didn’t change. That was still a terrible being. I wasn’t safe, i was going to get hurt. Panic set in and i want to move, but he was so quick. Moving easily with his large scaly limbs. A scream erupted from within my lungs, and i was then silenced by my pillow. The one i had been holding for protection, was not suffocating me, taking away my ability to breath and killing me. He was killing me. I tried to struggle, but my body just wouldn’t work. He was holding me so tightly, i had lost all feeling. Even the numbness had gone, i just felt nothing. I started to lose sight of everything at this time. I was giving up before i even knew what was going on. I didn’t have a choice, my will had been taken by this monster who carried the eyes of what my heart most desired.
