Dear Harvey,
It's been a long time since you've written me, so I can assume you haven't made it to a port yet. I miss you, big brother. I've attatched a picture of baby Richard, our little brother. You and Ansie can no longer tease me about being the baby of the family anymore. He's gorgeous and looks like Papa, except with Mama's hair. Actually, he looks exactly like you and Ansel.
I know what you're going to ask in your next letter; how's school? Is that Henry treating you right? Have you applied to any colleges yet?
Well, school is almost over. You were right about senior year, it went by fast. Henry is wonderful, Ansel is making sure he's respectful by chaperoning our dates. Yes, I've been accepted to the stte college as well as a few in Massachusettes. I think I'm going to go to the Vermont State College, just to be close to home.
It's Mama and Papa's anniversary!!! Thirty years of marraige, right? I'm pretty sure it's their thirtieth anniversary. Wait, no it's not, it's their twenty-fifth!! Mama was tewnty when they got married and she's forty-five right now.

I folded the letter and put a stamp on it. I would go to the Post Office tomorrow. This afternoon, I would help Ansel, Kit, Aunt Emily and Uncle Frank set up for the party. Amelia would join us later on in the night with Matthew and Thomas' wives and all their children. I set down my pen as two hands went over my eyes.
"Guess who." He whispered in my ear. I giggled and tapped my chin, pretending to think.
"Hmm... is it Henry?" I asked, grabbing his wrists and pulling the hands away. "You're here early."
"I missed you, silly girl." He said, pecking my nose. I smiled and stood, wrapping my arms around his neck to kiss his lips lightly.
"Come on, Ansie is downstairs with Richard and Kit." I said, starting to go towards my door. Henry grabbed my waist and held me to him.
"Hold on, I haven't seen you in three days. I've been stuck with my dad touring his almamater. I miss you." Henry said in a low voice. I smiled and snuggled into his chest, deciding it was worth my time to snuggle with my boyfriend.
"So you're going to Vermont too?" I asked. He nodded and kissed the top of my head, then rested his chin on top of it. "You could have called, Henry."
"Dad said it was a no woman weekend. I kept thinking about you though." Henry said.
"Aww, I thought about you too, Henry." I said, smiling at him. He's so cute. "Ready for another embarassing anniversary dinner? I think they've gone through all their ammo this time." Henry chuckled and gave me a squeeze.
"I enjoy when they tell those cute stories about you. I never knew you were such a... tomboy when you were younger." Henry said, smiling at me. I rolled my eyes and took his hand in mine. We had to get started with the decorating.

The entire family sat in the living room, eating chocolate cake for dessert. Mama and Papa had moved on from embarassing Ansel in front of his girlfriend to embarassing me in front of Henry. He just laughed at everything they said. It was late and all of the younger kids were asleep in Richard's room. Right now, Mama and Papa were telling Henry the reason I never smiled in middle school; braces.
"Oh god, Mrs. Bauer! You sure know Lena's weak spots." Henry said, pulling me into his side.
"Henry, you've been with my baby for four years now! I am Mama to you, no more Mrs. Bauer." Mama said, nudging Papa with her elbow.
"And, erm, I guess I am Papa now, not Mr. Bauer." Papa grumbled, making me laugh.
"Yes, Mama." Henry said, kissing my hair.
"So, what are you two doing for your fourth anniversary?" Aunt Emily asked. Henry smiled as my aunt.
"It's a surprise, Emily." Henry replied. 'And I can't give it away with Lena here, now can I?"
"Yes, you can." I replied. Henry laughed, hus chest rumbling againdst my shoulder.
"You, my love, just have to wait."
