Ok guys, I'm not sure if I've said this but most of these dragons, some of these characters and some places DO NOT belong to me, along with How To Train Your Dragon. They belong to the makers of How To Train Your Dragon.

Misty's POV

Nina and I looked at each other. Nina's expression was exactly how I felt, pure horror.

"Oh," I whispered.

"My," Nina's voice echoed around in my head.

"God." We finished together.

"B-b-but it can't be!" Nina Stuttered. "We haven't had an attack in nearly 30 years!"

"This had to be some horrible mistake!" I agreed. Suddenly the door burst open, revealing a panting Josh.

"Misty, Nina!" He exclaimed between heavy breaths. "You're needed in town to help put out fires!" And with that, he was gone.

"C'mon let's go." I said, shooting to my feet with Nina following.

We stopped about 300 metres away from town to take in the scene before us. Fires were raging dispite the pouring rain and lightning bolts split the sky with thunder booming over and over. Dragons were roaring with people yelling and kids screaming. I took a deep breath before charging over to where some kids our age were collecting water from the well to put out the fires.

"What do we have, Larnel?" I heard Evan, a villager who was currently sifting through chests of deadly weapons, say.

"Deadly Nadders, Terrible Terrors, Gronkles, Hideous Zipperbacks, Monsterous Nightmares and Thunder Drums" Larnel, our blacksmith, replies counting them off on his fingers. I grabbed a full bucket and started pouring it on a house that had gone up in flames. Suddenly, everything when quiet and the only sounds were thunder and the blazing fires. I turned to look around at the sudden change and then I saw why no one dared to speak.

Standing there, right on top of the fountain in town square, was the unholy offspring of lightning and death itself. There, watching our every move and breath, was the most feared dragon of all.

The Night Fury.
