"So my roommate Camila may be sleeping but usually she's just watching Netflix." Dinah said as we got out the car and walked into her apartment.

"Hey D- who's that?." Camila said from the couch.

"I met her at my job, she needed a place to stay." Dinah said as she put her belongings down.

"DJ can we talk?" Camila got up from the couch and went into the kitchen.

"Make yourself at home G, I'll be back." Dinah pointed me to the couch.

I let out a nervous breath. Maybe Camila didn't want me here?

I tried hard not to listen to their conversation but it was almost impossible.

"Dinah, do you even know her? Is she freaking homeless or something?"

"Girl, calm down. I didn't think you needed to know her whole life story. She needs a place to stay and I trust her enough to stay here." Dinah shot back.

"Well you do know someone else lives here right? You're not the only one. I don't want her here."

"I don't think you get to make that decision. She's staying here and that's final." Dinah walked out and came up to me.

"You're gonna stay in my room until Camila can get her shit together. I have a spare room I'll fix up for you tomorrow." Dinah said as she led me upstairs with her.

"Maybe I should just go?" I said as she closed her room door.

"Hell no G, if you walk out this house right now I'll beat your ass." She joked.

"She doesn't want me here though." I replied with a frown and Dinah laughed.

"She can't do anything. Mila wouldn't even hurt a fly. She's just in a pissy mood, that's all."

"I guess." I shrugged.

Dinah noticed I was feeling uneasy so she turned on netflix and handed me the remote.

"I'm gonna go shower, like I said, make yourself at home." She smiled.

I wonder why Camila doesn't want me here?
