The Hard Truth (Camila/You)

I stood in the kitchen and stared out the window. I sighed at the recollection of events that had occured a few hours ago.

What had been so horrible is that after all these years (#BuyCamilaOniTunes) of wondering what had happened to my family, I realized that I had just been left in the dust by the two people I had cared about the most.

My mom left me there with that monster of a father as if I was literally nothing but a spec of dust. My brother didn't try to reach out to me, his excuses were quite sad when we were at Dino's. I know it's not fully my brother's fault, but he didn't make an effort and that's what hurts the most.

Not having any family really does make you realize things sometimes though. For example, if I made it this far in my life by myself then I'm pretty sure I did something right.

"You okay?" Mila snapped me out of my thoughts as she came up behind me, wrapping her arms around my waist.

"Yeah, I'm okay." I blushed and put my hands on hers.

She turned me around in her arms, locking her thumbs in my belt loops. Our faces were a few inches apart. 

"I hope you're still not thinking about what happened." She frowned and I looked down which she soon tilted my chin back up. "I guess I have to give an example of how much I care about you." She said as she started to do the one thing I had never expected.

Mila started to lean in and soon enough our lips met in a kiss and her hands fell upon my cheeks. Shortly after we pulled away, I saw a huge adorable smile appear on her face.

"That was better than I imagined." Camila chuckled.

"You're so damn cute." I smiled widely.

"I hope that was a good enough example of how much you mean to me." Camila sincerely looked into my eyes.

"That was perfect."

Once again, short but cute. Also, don't get too used to the cute tho ;) The next chapter should be longer than this one definitely. I'm posting this at like 2 am so my brain is barely functioning but I hope that was a little treat to hold you over ♡
