Chapter 10

Jay clenched her fist as she walked through the woods. She looked around and mumbled, she walked farther through the woods, looking around at the dark area. She mumbled and looked back from where she had walked. She sighed and continued her walk, the sun was slowly setting, it was getting darker and darker, she got more lost than before. She ignored the fact that her wolf spirit hasn't come out and guided her back to the camp. She regretted punching Takashi up, regretted not just going to the training site or her cabin. She furrowed her brows and kept going.

She soon made it back to camp. A soft sigh escaping her lips as she walked through, she felt uneasy about her surroundings. It was quiet, too quiet. She inhaled and kept her guard up, she continued to walk. Something suddenly walked, no ran past behind her. She turned around, taking out a pocket knife. 

The small girl continued to walk, she mumbled as she heard something behind her again. She walked towards her supposedly cabin, shocked to see everything was ruined and destroyed. She flinched as something hit her shoulder, goo? She touched it, it was a bright green and it was slimy and sticky. She slowly looked up and froze, she ran out as a humanoid type of creature chased after her. It kept screaming  "I know you were there, you caused this!" Jay was scared, she didn't know what to do. Suddenly the creature stacked her. 

She yelled and tried fighting back, the creature so close on biting her. She was so confused as to what was happening. She yelled and screamed for help, the creature screeching making raven fly away. Suddenly it bit her, Jay gasped and passed out. 

Her eyes lowly opened, all she could see were lights, and other people. She felt a shock go through her. A few hours or so passed, she sat up and gasped as she woke up. Back in a cabin? She looked around and saw unfamiliar faces, she stood up and pointed her pocket knife at her. Suddenly Tatsu, Takashi and Satoshi barged in and hugged Jay. She flinched and hugged back, saying sorry.

As soon as the three left, Jay sat back down and looked at the person with her. "What were those things?" She asked, scared. The male looked at her and sighed, "Those things? Ha...well those were the things that are out to kill us, our death, our monsters, nightmare. They shapeshift into our worst fears." He said sighing. "You're lucky you're alive kid" He said and left. 

Jay looked down at her hand, a soft bite mark on her hand. She flinched and mumbled to herself. Jay soon sat up and walked outside, the camp was destroyed. She ran around and looked everywhere, everything was destroyed. Who would do something like this?! A surge suddenly went through her, she walked and barged into the building where the guy was and slammed her hands on the desk. "What happened?!" She yelled, furious.

The man looked at her and crossed his arms. "You. Happened." He said sighing. "You got bit, and went crazy....I guess immune people go crazier than most." He said. "Immune?" She asked confused.

"You and that other girl, Tatsu was it? You two...are special....you aren't like others, you inherit the wolf and dragon spirits..." He said.

"You're....supposedly... Immortal."
