She was lost in the dark,
And was broken.
Waiting for a day,
To finally be awoken.
He wanted to travel,
To wander and explore.
He wanted to live life to the fullest,
He wanted nothing more.
She lived her life,
Not knowing what hope was.
Thinking that she was alone,
Wondering what life was.
When he saw her,
She was showing the world lies.
But he looked past her happy facade,
And saw the truth in her eyes.
She was first afraid,
To let him past her walls,
Not letting him in,
Afraid that she would fall.
He wanted her to be a part,
Of his adventurous life.
He wanted to complete her,
And save her from her dark nights.
After much persuasion,
She finally caved in.
Giving him what he wanted,
She let him in.
As time passed,
They found way into each others hearts.
Filling each other with warmth,
They could never be apart.
When they were together,
They were happy and complete,
Bringing out the best in each other,
Living a life without deceit.
He came into her life,
And showed her the light.
Saving her from,
Her darkest nights.
He filled her with colours,
She helped him chase his dreams.
Together they were,
The perfect team.
