TRAPPED
Drenched in the rain,
The water pouring down.
She's trapped in this dark mess,
She just wants to drown.
She dreams of the ocean,
Being submerged in it's waters
Staying away from this darkness,
Is really all that matters.
She imagines a red fire,
Burning through this horrid night.
Giving her the heat she needs,
Igniting within her: a spark of light.
She reaches out within her,
Looking desperately for a spark:
The light shall act as a sanctuary,
Which shall protect her from the dark.
She's trapped in her dark cage,
Left all alone.
Still looking for a spark of light,
Which shall finally lead her home.
