Chapter 5 Say You Won't Let Go

RIC's POV

Sue is my classmate when I took up law school. We became good friends. She treats me like his younger brother. Her brother Aro is my partner in the business. They know my story. I told Sue my plan to get Keren back. I told her to play as my girlfriend in which she liked the role. But, making sure his real boyfriend knows the plan or else we will both die. David is Sue's boyfriend. He is also a lawyer and has his own law firm in New York. David agreed to the arrangement.

I saw the reaction of Keren when Sue told her she is my girlfriend. I'm not happy to see her reaction. Parang wala lang sa kanya. Not a hint of jealousy or weariness. Her expression just say she was irritated because she has to take care of me. Sigh! I will think of some other ways and means. Or di lang kami convincing ni Sue.

I am startled when my phone is ringing. It's Sue who is calling.

"Yes, Sue." I answered her in my cranky voice.

"Hey, Ricky! Whats up! Don't tell me lover boy, wala na si Keren dyan." She asked me holding her laughter.

"Suzette, first, please stop calling me that name. Second, yes, she is not here anymore. Thanks to your acting skills."
Tumawa ng malakas si Sue.
"Ricky boy, you are unbelievable. The great and mighty Ric Han is giving up! Manhid ka ba or bulag? Ahh, Di mo nakita ang reaction ni Keren kanina? Nagseselos sya! I can see her body language and facial expression. It's different. Wanna bet?"

"You mean nagseselos sya?" I asked her with a doubt.

"Okay, Ricky, see it for yourself. Well, by the way, David will go to Italy this weekend. He said we can continue the act while he is away. Its 2 weeks. And when he comes back we will end this charade. Kaya Ric Han, 2 weeks mag expire na ang contrata natin. Kaya, you move as fast as you can to get her back using me, Kamahalan." She said it to me teasingly.

"Okay, deal!"

Keren's POV

My face was flushing when I was out in Ric's penthouse. Nakakainis ka, Keren. I scolded myself. Haist! I am inside my car Bentley when my phone is ringing like crazy. It's Erika. Shocks! I forgot about the Launching. I am so dead. Haist!
"YAH, KEREN PARK! SAAN KA NGAYON?" Erika is shouting that i need to put my phone away from my ears..
"ERRIE, can you please lower your voice. I am having a headache. I need to go the hospital. I have to attend to some patients.

"Keren, what kind of friend are you? Huh! Please don't ditch me. I need you to be at my launching. To support me and for my success! Huwag mong kalimutan to go and fit clothes for the event. Come and see me now! I'm so nervous now. I think I am going to collapse!
I rolled my eyes to Erika's exaggeration. Haist! Okay, I don't have a choice.
"OKAY! I SURRENDER!" I shouted. "I'll go to the hospital first and I will go to your shop."
"Hurry up! I already have the dress fit for you." She said with a hint og naughtiness in her voice.

I let the other interns know about my absence. I already called up Ethan about my schedule with Errie. I want him to be my date. Kasi ayoko talaga ng mga social gatherings. And even wearing dress and killer heels. It is so exhausting.

Ethan Soo is my best friend since diaper years. He is my confidante. But, I treat him as my bestfriend. Nothing more. He is a also a surgeon and cardiologist. He is also from the rich family but has no interest in business. My parents and his parents are partners in the business.

"Hey, Eth, sige papunta na ako dyan. Ano?" I heard Erika is crying. I drive my Bentley so fast.
Pagpasok ko sa shop ni Errie. I saw Ethan in his Armani suit.
"Eth, you are so hot!". He smirked and kissed me in my cheeks.
"Thank God you are here, En. I can't handle the hell of a woman here and her tantrums." He said it annoyingly. Hmm, what happened to this two.
