" Mrs.Henry congratulations you are indeed pregnant". Doctor Young told me as she walked back into the room holding the results in her hand.
"Your about a month and three weeks I wanna see you back here next month" I nodded as she looked up at me writing stuff down.
"Okay so here's your prescriptions for your prenatals, which you can get at a local CVS or Walgreens it's up to you also before you leave out I would like if you go to the front desk to make an appointment for sometime next month" I nodded again not being able to talk. I couldn't believe it I was pregnant i mean i knew it was a possibility but I just i don't know, I guess I just wasnt expecting the test to come back positive. I don't know how ima tell Malik or my mom, or even Laini. I knew Laini would be happy for me but also worried about all the outcomes with the big secret im holding from Malik about my age. Standing up from the examination table I left out the room to schedule an appointment for next month. Walking to the car I got in calling Laini to give her the news .
"Soo are you pregnant ?" She asked as soon the phone line connected. I sighed as i felt the tears brim my eyes.
"Yes one month and three weeks to be exact " I replied as the tears rolled down my face.
"Awwwe pooh don't cry ima gonna be with you every step of the way and i know your gonna be a good mother you got this "
"Thanks Laini I really needed that but I still don't know what I'm going to do about telling Malik and my mom. I still haven't told Malik but that im really sixteen. " I ranted, the line got quite for a while before she spoke again.
" how about I help you tell them both, if you want we can tell Malik today and momma T tomorrow"
"I can do that what time you get off again I wanna head to get my prenatals and go change before coming to you."
