Naomi's POV

I walked into Mr. Promas' office nervously, unaware of what was coming. He signaled me to sit down and I nervously squirmed into the leather seat, waiting for him to interrogate me.

"Good morning, Mr. Promas," I chirped.

"Good morning, Ms. Isara," he replied, "I assume you know why you're here?" He assured me.

I shook my head, lying.

"Well, you see...I was wondering if you knew anything about Sofia's murder. We already know who is involved but we don't know who exactly intended on killing her," he pressured me.

I let out a sharp sigh, "I don't know, Mr. Promas," I said.

"Are you sure?" He raised an eyebrow at me.

I didn't know if I should say something or not. What if Ronnie was actually serious about killing us? Should I just admit that I did it just to get it over with? "Mr. Promas," I breathed in slowly, "I'm the one who killed Sofia," I felt tears in my eyes from the lie.

"How exactly did you kill her and with what?" He chuckled. "The line of cocaine I gave her...it, um, it killed her," I furrowed my eyebrows together.

"How about you stop lying and tell me the truth?" He scoffed, "I don't want any lies. I just want the public to stop protesting and I want the paparazzi to leave Peighton's premises," he sighed.

"I don't understand..." I wiped my tears

"How about I tell you what we know so you can see why this is such a serious matter?" He scoffed for what seemed to be the billionth time. "Go ahead," I nonchalantly said.

"In this footage, it shows Sofia doing that line on Derek's lap. I assume you guys were playing Truth or Dare?" He made sure as we stared at the footage. I nodded my head slowly, waiting for him to continue. "Anyways, Naomi, it shows Ronnie daring Sofia to do that line. Now, we have just talked to Sofia's parents and according to them, she has done cocaine before and was clean for a week before any of this happened. Now, why do you think that line killed her suddenly?" He asked.

"Because...I don't know, don't drugs kill you eventually?" I raised an eyebrow. "Well, yes but there was something else in that line. Aconite, to be exact."

"What?" I gasped.

"Exactly, Naomi," he smirked.

"I didn't know any of this," I sighed.

"No one did except for the actual person who did it," he said as he looked at the footage again.

"We believe it was Mr. Banks who did it," Ms. Raina walked in.

"Impossible," I said astonished.

"Well, we can't jump to conclusions but we have something on tape from many hours before the incident. We caught a glimpse of Ronnie holding a small plastic bag full of cocaine. They're still doing fingerprints to see if it was the same bag that was intended to kill Sofia," She said as she showed us the tape.

I am not fully recovering the information that has been given to me and I'm utterly shocked. "I...I can't believe this," I sighed. "You can't trust people nowadays," Ms. Raina chuckled. "The police is coming in to answer a few questions. You're not going to get arrested, Naomi," he chuckled.

I felt reluctant to nod, but then I did.

"Good," he smiled softly as he signaled Ms. Raina to call in the cops. I felt myself shake when I saw two muscular and older-looking men in uniform walk into the room with stern expressions on their faces.

"Uh...hi," I managed to say.

"Good morning, Ms. Isara," they smiled politely at me, "I hear that your friend is the main suspect?" one of them asked. I nodded my head softly, responding to their question. "Very well then. We must tell the public that we found out who did it but Mr. Promas, we're not going to say their names," the taller guy explained.

"I don't understand." Mr. Promas said.

"Me either," I chuckled nervously.

"We're arresting Mr. Banks," the other one sighed. "What do you mean?" I gasped. "At this moment, no. However, he will be tried," he nervously responded.

"How do you know it is him?" I raised an eyebrow.

"His fingerprints are on the bag." He explained.

I whined in confusion, "So are mine."

What had just happened?

"Okay, so let me get this straight. You're telling me that you put the aconite in the bag?" He asked unsure.

They shook their head silly and I sighed, wanting to tell them the truth, but I couldn't for my friends' own protection. If I was going to run away, I had to do it for real.

"Do you swear you did it?" The other police officer said. I nodded my head. Tears were about to stream down my eyes.

"Alright, come with me, Ms. Isara,"
