"Are you alright?" I felt like I was running to the rescue when really I was limping. "I apologize for being in your way."

"No," she waved my hands away from her while gripping onto her scraped knee. "I shouldn't have been rush- oh my god that's a lot of blood."

I look down at her knee that has a visible gash of blood pouring from it. I blink in shock, not sure what to do. "Okay, well I could take you to the hospital but the car... I don't have a car."

I then look to the woman and see if she has any ideas but she was out cold. My heart jumped from my chest in an instant.

Did she seriously faint? Oh no! Did she die from blood lost!?

I couldn't think straight knowing we were out in the open and I was left with passed out girl.

I rested my head on her chest and sighed when I heard a heartbeat.

"Time to put these muscles to work," I huff while scooping her up from the floor.
