Chapter 6: Museums and Wine

Today has been so boring. I thought to myself. I'm just trying to go out tonight and have some fun. I picked up my phone from the table in front of me and decided to give Dani a call. She was currently out and about roaming the streets of Italy maxing out her credit cards shopping at the most expensive boutiques she could find. 

"Hey V" She said after picking up on the second ring.

"Hey Dani, I just wanted to know what you were up to.." I replied.

"I'm currently at a Versace Boutique shopping around, do you want anything?" She asked.

"Uhm, I could use a pair of shoes" I said with a hint of amusement in my voice, "But that's not really why I called.. I wanted to see if you had any plans for tonight?"

"I didn't have anything planned for tonight but we can definitely go out tonight." She replied.

"Awesome! We can figure out the details when you get home, see you soon and be safe." I said before hanging up.

Yay! Okay, I want to go out but I'm not entirely sure what I want to do but I guess Google can help with that. So I typed in fun things to do in Italy and sure enough the first thing to pop up is two tickets to visit the museum. That sounds like fun, although I'm not very artistically inclined but I know how to appreciate art. As soon as I finished paying for the tickets Dani walked through the hotel doors.

"Hey Dani, how was shopping?" I asked her.

"It was honestly so much fun and I got so much cute stuff, do you want to see?" She replied.

"Yeah definitely." I responded.

After 15 brand new clothing items and accessories, I decided to tell her about the tickets to the museum I bought for us.

"Sooooo.." I started.

"So what?" Dani asked.

"I know its not really your scene but I bought us tickets to go to the museum later tonight." I told her.

"UGHHH, I guess.. I didn't come to Italy to stay indoors and do nothing." She replied defeatedly. 

"Yay!" I exclaimed while giving her a hug. "It's only 3 right now, so I figured we could go around 6, yeah?"

"Yeah that's fine." Dani said.

"Okay, well I'm going to take a nap."

Seeing as I was coped up in this hotel all day long, I was already in comfortable clothing so I just tied my hair up, hopped into bed and turned off my lamp and soon enough I fell into a dreamless slumber. I awoke to my phone vibrating indicating that someone was calling me but I just silenced the ringer and continued to sleep.

The next time, I awoke to the light coming through my window. I checked my phone to see that it was 5:30 that gives me 30 minutes to get ready. I swiped through my notifications and realized that I had a missed call and 1 unread text both from Giovanni. Instead of calling him back I decided to answer his text.

"Bella, I want to see you" his text read.

"I'm in my room.." I replied. 

I waited a few minutes for a text back and when I didn't get one I went to take a shower. I turned the knob to the hottest water setting and I waited before hopping in. The hot water felt so good against my body. I grabbed a washcloth and began to wash my body while humming Break From Toronto by PND. I shaved, washed my lady parts, and exfoliated. After I finished everything, I stepped out of the shower wrapped a towel around me and began to brush my teeth. Then there was a knock on the door.
