*Knock knock knock* "Come in," Carrie said. Mark, her bass player entered her dressing room. "Hey Carrie! So listen, there's something I want to talk to you about. I've been talking to Ivey about this for a while now but it's about time I talk to you about it," Mark began to explain. "Okay... what is it Mark?" Carrie questioned Mark with a confused look on her face. "It's been a while since you and Derek broke up and you seem kind of lonely. I only say this because Ivey and I are concerned. We want you to be happy," Mark pauses and Carrie continues to look at him with confusion, "Ivey said you wouldn't go for it but I want you to meet a good friend of mine. He's a great guy, you'll love him!" Carrie shakes her head. "Ivey was right. Mark you know I don't want to be set up. That's not my style. If I am meant to meet a guy, then fate will find a way." "But Carrie, I'm worried about you. We're so busy with the tour that you don't have time to meet anyone. Let him just come to a show, that's all I ask of you." Carrie sighs, "Fine, he can come to a show but I'm sticking him in a meet and greet in case he's weird!" Mark laughs, "Haha Okay that's good. Believe me Carrie; I wouldn't set you up with just anybody."
Mark leaves and Carrie continues to get prepped for the show. It's the third show into Carrie's Carnival Ride tour, her first headlining tour. Carrie steps on stage and performs on stage for the next hour and a half and the crowd goes wild. They go berserk when she steps onto that stage and want an encore when it's over. After the show she hops into the tour bus and it starts on its way to Toronto, Canada. Carrie goes to her room on the bus and falls asleep. Mark is in the front of the bus and makes a call, "Hey. Yeah, we're all set. It has to be a surprise; she can't know you are my friend. I want her to act normal, just act like a regular fan. You get a meet and greet with her. Depending on how it goes, I'll let her decide what she wants to do. I'm excited man. You'll love her. Alright, see you in two days brother! Bye."
