Normal Day

Jaebum's POV...

What do I like about waking up early? Well I love seeing Jinyoung still asleep. Nowadays he's usually up all night with Jackson and wakes up early to watch him during the day. I reach over and turn off the alarm. I know that he won't like it but he really needs his sleep.

I don't want to go to work but know that I have to. I climb out of bed and get ready for work. Before I leave I write a note for Jinyoung. As I walk out to my car, all I can think about is coming back home to family.

Jinyoung's POV...

"Dammit Jaebum," I curse. I can't sleep in. I have a child to watch after. Now it's ten o'clock and I was supposed to be up three hours ago. I get out of bed and walk to the nursery and over to the crib where Jackson is. He's actually still asleep? That's a first.

I love Jackson. I really do... but a part of me still yearns for my own child. It's because I'm an omega... And no. There's no point in beating myself up over something that I can't control.

I just can't help but feel like I could've done more. There's something that I'm missing. Something that I haven't tried.

Jaebum's POV...

"Jinyoung," I call softly. "I'm home."

"If you're going to be late at least call," Jinyoung says as he sets dinner on the table.

"I can't be too late if dinner is just now ready," I say as I take of my jacket and shoes by the door.

"Haha," Jinyoung says. "I've been late all day because of you." I sigh and walk over to him.

"You need your rest," I say softly and rest my hand on his back. "I'll watch Jackson tonight okay? No sleep isn't good for you. What matters most to me is that both you and Jackson are healthy and happy okay?"

"You're such a sap," Jinyoung says and smiles while blushing. "You're lucky that I love you."

"Extremely lucky," I say and pull him in for a kiss. He kisses back before pulling away.
