Through the dark (One Direction and 5SOS Fanfiction)

Hey guys so here is my First ever fanfic

I did a competition on facebook to get all non 1D and 5SOS characters.

Chapter 1:

Grace's POV

"Mum! I'll be fine. I'm 19 and I'm going to see Harry.... my brother Not go hang with the devil. stop crying" I said as my mum stood in the airport with me tears streaming down her face. she had been dreading this day since I told her I was moving to L.A to live with Harry. She hates that we lost one Child, I guess she doesn't want to loose another. She has Gemma but there is something about me and Harry our mum adored. maybe the fact we're twins ? I don't know but she is super attached.

"You call me the second you get there! no messing ....no boys ! and please don't fight with Harry too much"

" I won't. and me and harry fighting .... never !" I said sarcastically.

" well if your old enough to move to America I guess your too old for cuddles then"

"Your kidding me right ?" I walked over and wrapped my arms around my mother. In my head I was shouting 'Don't cry Grace' but the lump in my throat got harder and harder to swallow.

"I love you mum" I said , my voice cracking mid sentence.

"I love you too little girl, I'm going to go before they kick me out for crying ! be safe sweetie and don't forget to call"

"I won't . Bye mum. I'll see you soon "

she turned and began to walk away and I did the same. I didn't think I would need to, but I went to the bathroom to fix my make up which I knew was running down my face. I tried to be strong but saying goodbye to my mum wasn't easy!

when I got to the bathrooms I wasn't surprised by the typically interior. about 6 Cubicles , a few sinks some Hand Dryers and a large mirror that covered the length of the bathroom. I walked over an took my make up out of my bag and reapplied my eye shadow , eyeliner and mascara. as I leaned into the mirror while applying my mascara I looked into my own green eyes. My eyes were the only thing that were identical to Harry's. We weren't identical twins , far from it in fact. I looked more like Gemma to be honesly.

when I finished my make up I made my way to check in. The people in front of me were american, I could tell by there thick american accents. They spoke about their time in england and how they didn't want to return. at least that was one thing we had in common. I didn't want to return .

I made the massive decision to back up and leave for America after an accident 3 months ago.

My boyfriend Tyler and I were driving home from a date night, we had been for dinner and went to see a movie. it was perfect. We were driving down the Highway hand in hand. I felt like nothing could ever spoil this perfect moment. I was wrong. Very wrong. I dont remember what happened but I've been told a truck skidded and hit the side of our car. My side. I woke up in the hospital 3 weeks later with only me and Harry in the room. I was confused for two reasons. why was Harry here if he lived in L.A and Two why was I there. when they told me about the accident I was shocked. But nothing, No words could describe the feeling when i was told Tyler was killed. My boy friend, Dead.

I was snapped out of my day dream by the woman waiting behind the desk. I apologized and handed her my passport and tickets.

"Thank you. Here's your Boarding pass. enjoy your flight" I smiled at her and began making my way to the boarding area. As I stood in the que I decided to text Harry and tell him I was about to get on my plane

Me: Hey I'm just about to get on the plane. Just thought I would text you and let you know. they said we should be landing in LAX at 8pm if there are no delays X

Harry :) : Good! Safe flight sis. can't wait to see you. Love you lots x

Me: Love you too. x

I switched off my phone and handed my boarding pass to the air hostess who waited at the gates.

before I stepped onto the plane I took one last look at my British surroundings and hoped the next time I was here it was only for a visit.
