Chapter 16

G'day !!! hopes you are all good !

this week was Hectic !! what I do is type up the chapters when I'm bored or have free time... this week My sister got Married ! so I got NOTHING done ! But yeah !!

here is chapter 16

Grace's POV

I Stared at the frail girl in the mirror. Her hair Tangled, her eyes, dark due to lack of sleep. Her outfit, Greg sweat pants and a tank top.  Why  do I care how I look? I turned around to face the world once again. See My family , pretend that the death of my boyfriend hasn't turned me to a mad woman.

"Grace? there is someone here to see you " I heard harry say from outside my door. He didn't come in. I ran my hair through my hair before going out to greet who ever it was coming to visit. I opened the door to be greeted Harry. He looked at me before walking away, saying Nothing. I walked down the hall and into the living room. My mother was talking to a boy , his back to me.

"Oh Grace, your friend came to see you . " He turned and my stomach dropped. Michael.

"No, I don't want him here, get rid of him, Please!" I said quietly. My mum gave me a funny look as if to tell me not to be rude.

"Everything okay?" Harry said Standing beside me

"Harry, get him out ! please" I begged

"Oh Grace , that's no way to greet your.... friend " Michael smiled at me

"Fuck this" I turned to walk away but was grabbed by the arm and pulled back

"No need to be rude Gracie , " Harry whispered in my ear and pushing me towards Michael.

and yet again the hitting began. but this time I was being held down by Michael and Being hit and kicked by Harry. My mother Cried being held back from helping me by Luke

"GRACE!" she screamed

"Grace"

"Grace wake up ! " suddenly every thing went black. was I dead ? but the shouting continued. This time my mothers voice was replaced by a boy

"Grace , wake up please " My eyes flung open and I sighed in relief realizing it was a dream. My hair and body felt wet, and I panted like I had just ran a marathon.

"Its okay, it was just a dream" Ashton stood above me moving the hair from my face

"That wasn't a dream, that was a nightmare" I Whispered.

"Well, you're awake now so don't worry. Grace, I'm sneaking you out for a few hours. I'm going to bring you to the hospital to get you checked out" . i was confused by this, why was he doing this?

"But, what do we say to them?"

"Well, I'm Your neighbour , You were out with friends last night, when I went to get my Mail this morning you were on your front lawn, passed out, and beaten..You're going to have to lie, make up a story, or say you don't remember, but you can't say what is actually happening. "

I nodded and agreed. I was grateful that Ashton showed some sympathy for me. he came over to me and wrapped his arm around me and helped me out of bed. I hissed in pain

"Owww, Fuck "

"Sorry, Come on, we have to get there and get back as soon as possible. The boys can't know you're gone " He said helping me walk.

"Thank you "

"For what"

"Helping me, kind of" I let out a small laugh and continued to walk with Ashton.

We pulled up outside the Hospital. Ashton got out and ran over to open my door.

"Okay, I'm going to carry you in, you need to pretend to be passed out okay, And remember Play along." He said in a soft voice . He stopped and stared at me . His brown eyes were drowsy like he hasn't slept in days. He smiled and  whispered

"I'm sir sorry Grace," He looked away from me and picked me up and Carried me inside. As we approached the door I closed my eyes like Ashton Said.

"My friend needs help. I found her like this. " Ashton's voice was so panicked! give this guy a few Friken Oscar !

"Of course, come this way.!" a woman said and I felt myself being moved. I shivered. Ashton obviously noticed because at that moment he held me even closer to him.

"Okay, you can lie her here." this time a man spoke. I felt myself being laid gently onto a bed.

"Can you tell me what happened ?"

"Erm  yeah, well she is my neighbour, I was out getting my mail this morning and she was lying on the grass in front of her house. She was all bruised and stuff so I brought her here"

"Okay well, you did the right thing. we are going to run tests. unfortunately we can't have people in here while we do that, so we will have to ask you to wait outside." the man spoke up.

"Oh , right.okay." I heard Ashton said.Crap! I don't want to be alone,

I was left to pretend I was asleep, alone with a stranger. but its not like the first time I've had to deal with a stranger. I mean, I live with Four
