The day of the wedding started off without a problem. Choo was well-behaved, and sat quietly on Elsa's shoulder throughout the ceremony. At supper, however, he couldn't help running all over the banquet table. He had never seen so many people at one table before, and he wanted to say hello to everyone! Most of the guests were happy to meet him.
But when he came to the Duke of Weselton, the meeting wasn't quite so pleasant. The Duke scowled at Choo, which scared him so much that he ran back to Elsa! "What's wrong, Choo?" asked Elsa, stroking his head.
As she looked down the table, the Duke glared at her. "Monster," he said through his teeth.
"She is not!" said Anna, banging her fist on the table.
"Anna, be still!" said Elsa in a loudish whisper.
Anna took a deep breath to calm herself, then curiously looked down the table. Someone had said it with her, but she didn't know who.
After supper came the reception. Showing up unseen, Jack waited until Elsa was alone, then went up to talk to her. "Hey, Snowflake! How was the wedding?" he asked.
"Beautiful!" said Elsa.
"Did I miss anything interesting?" asked Jack.
"Anna almost lost it at dinner," said Elsa. "And Choo was running all over the table. You should have seen it. He was so funny!"
"Where is Choo anyway?" said Jack.
"What do you mean?" said Elsa. "He's right..." But as she looked, she saw that the little snowman had disappeared from her shoulder! Elsa's face turned white as she looked back at Jack! "He... He was right... Oh, no! Choo!" And she started frantically running around the ballroom, trying to find him!
Meanwhile, Choo wasn't very happy. He wanted Anna to pick him up, but she wasn't even noticing him. He squeaked and squeaked, but he couldn't get her attention. Finally, he got the idea to try from in front of her. He ran to face her head-on.
But before he could squeak, Anna took a step forward, and found herself tripping over him! Luckily, a young man nearby reacted just in time, and caught her. "Are you alright?" he asked.
"Yeah," said Anna. "Yeah, thanks, I'm..." Then, she saw who was holding her. "Hans?!"
"Anna?!" said Hans with equal surprise.
"Choo!" exclaimed Elsa with relief. She bent down, and scooped him up in her hands. "Don't run off like that! You scared me! This isn't our castle, you could easily get lost." Then, looking up, she saw the ordeal he had just set into motion. But that's another story...
