A REASON WHY
[ Third Person ]

The tension was thick and silence that night. After founding their way back to the resort nobody really spoke at each others again, purely because they were getting onto each other's nerves the whole day. Scolding, mimicking and throwing mean comments at each others purely out of annoyance and stress.

De adults under them weren't really talkactive as well. Kemberly and Joanna mainly stayed at their room, Joanna wanting to give her some space after that situation and Kemberly just wanting to stay alone. Martin refused to ever come in contact with Fred again, he packed his stuff and moved to the PrettyMuch bungalow, staying at Austin's for the night.

They decided it would be for the best to not tell the others about what happened. Spreading the situation would cause Kemberly more irritation and that's something they tried to avoid.

Without even one person yelling 'good night' through the hallway, they just slept and not cared about anybody. The funny thing is though that this trip was suppose to bring people together, not split people from each others.

As soon as the morning approaches, everyone needed to get up to get ready. Michelle being the smart kid she is, she made sure she got up extra early to be the first one to shower.

[ Michelle Holland's POV- ]

I walk down the stairs carefully, hoping no sound would roar from the steps. With my towel hanging over my shoulder and a bag full of showerproducts I start heading towards the bathroom.

I took a turn and watches as the door was standing right open, meaning nobody is in there. I took my steps, until I heard a movement from behind. As I turn around, I flinch and drop my black shower bag.

"Good morning." Edwin says, feeling a little bit hurt that I flinched at his sudden present. He had his towel hanging over his shoulder, exposing his bare chest as he wasn't wearing anything than red joggingpants, his hair all messy and eyebags under his tired eyes.

"Morning." I reply at him. We both didn't showed any emotions, being pretty sure that this is the first interaction they all had since last night.

"So uhm..." He starts, referring to the towel I had on my shoulder.

"Oh, yeah." I nod. "Do you want to go first or shall I go?" I asks as the awkwardness between starts to raise high. It was so quiet that you even could hear the waves of the beaches crashing against the sand.

"Y-you can go first." He stutters. Not knowing what to say in return, I just nod before turning around to walk closer to the bathroom.

"No, wait-" I hear him calling. He cuts himself up, making me curious. You know, I could just step into the bathroom and close the door, acting like nothing happened.

But I didn't.

I turned around to see Edwin looking down at his socks. He nibbles at the inside of his cheeks as he had his hands deep in his pockets. "Yeah?" I asks, making him look up. He was surprised, he looked like it. He probably was expecting me not to reply, especially with this tension in the air.

"I-" He cuts himself off for the second time. He sighs, pinching his eyes shut as he drops his head low again.

"It's okay, you can tell me." I assure him, nodding with it in the hope he could open up about this feeling he had right now. It blocked me from getting out of this conversation right now, because the sun is rising.

"There's this girl." He spits out. He realizes he just said that, making his eyes widen. My jaw drops, eyebrows raising as I look at him.

"Continue." I nudge him.
