"Hey Star." I turn to Jack, Hiccup, Marco and Jackie. "Hey guys." I say while twirling my wand in my hand. "Has any of you seen Maddie today?" Everyone shrugs at me. "I haven't seen her since yesterday." Jack admitted, not looking the slightest bit sad. "Is she alright?" I ask as we all sit down. "Why should I care? I have my life to live." Me and Marco shared worried looks. "But she's your friend Jack." Hiccup spoke up with a slight edge in his voice. "Who cares." I stand up and grab his shirt, pulling him toward me. "WHAT DID YOU DO!?!" I scream as the whole cafeteria silenced. "Star calm down." Marco placed a hand on my shoulder but I pushed it away. "Back off Diaz!" I snarl at him as I look at Jack. "I know you did something Jack. So tell me what it is or I will narwal blast you in the face." Jack gulped as I raised my wand to his face. "Star-" "I said back off Marco." I yell at him. "She is my best friend and even though she looks tough on the outside, she is broken on the inside. You are such a JERK!" I push him away and walk out the door of the cafeteria, everyone staring at me.

I take out my dimensional scissors and cut out a portal. "Star!" I face Marco and then turn away. "What was that?" He asks pointing back to the cafeteria. "Defending my friend Marco. Not like you ever would." I whisper but he must've heard it because his eyes widened in shock. "I do-" "No you don't Marco." I interrupt him. "Have you ever tried for once to not think about yourself and focus on other people. You never sacrificed your wand for a loved one." I showed him the half star on my wand. "You never went looking for me when I got lost." "Star-" "No I'm not finished. You always talk about Jackie. Jackie is kind. Jackie is cool. Oh I wish I could kiss Jackie. Star why aren't you like Jackie? I can't take it anymore!" I pull on my hair as Marco stands there, his mouth hung open. "Just leave me alone Marco. I need to calm down." I sniffle as I step through the portal making it close behind me.

Maddie's Pov

"You ok?" I look up to see Star. "Oh hey Star. Fancy seeing you here. Why are you home so early?" "I kind of left because I was worried about you and-" "Star calm down. You are talking too fast." I laugh a little as she sits next to me. "Jack was being a total jerk. Saying about how he doesn't care about you when we all know he does. So I kind of yelled at him." My eyes widen, "You stuck up for me?" "Of course Icy. You are my best friend." I hug her and let down a tear. I quickly wipe it away and smile at Star. "You fought with Marco again didn't you?" "Huh?" "Star I can see it in your eyes." "Ok I'll tell you." She explains what happened as I listened in intently. "That's it." "Well I'm happy for you. It's not holding you down anymore." I pat her shoulder. "Thanks Maddie. That means a lot." "No problem." We sit in silence, "So are you hiding from Jack?" "What? No!" I say honestly. "I mean at first I was but then I decided to focus on my magic. So I have been in my room the past couple of days." "Wow! That's wicked." I chuckle at her as the door opens from downstairs. "Must be the boys." I lock my door as I face Star. "Ok fine. I'm still avoiding him while practicing spells." "That's what I thought." I roll my eyes at her. 'I have such a great friend.'

"I'm sorry mom." Star told her mother, pulling on her gloves. "I understand. They just want a perfect princess." Queen Moon smiled at Star until the High Commission starts fighting with Moon. I look at mom who is standing on my right. "Mom?" "Hmm?" "I wish I wonder why the sky chose me." I twirl a piece of hair in my finger. "They chose you because you have something special." My mom came down to my height as I let out a smile. "Maybe you don't realize it yet. But you will soon." She kisses my head and walks over to the adults. "Um. So-" I look at Star and Marco. "Hold that thought Marco." Star formed a cloud and raced off into the starry night sky. "Now what happens?" Marco looked at me with a bit of blush etched on his cheeks. "Well it's going to be awkward. Ruberiot just added that in and you know it's not true." I lie in his face. I actually helped him add that part in because it was about time they told each other their feelings. I guess it didn't turn out as I had planned. "But Marco. Do you like Star?" I look into his eyes.
