Winter came,
there's no more flame.
No more flame of affection.
No more warmth,
just dejectionMy heart became cold.
Perhaps it can never be thawed.
The winds can't be controlled.
My emotions are now flawed.I'm alone and freezing.
My feelings are dying.
The world seemed dead,
like it's too late to recover.
But look closer-
beneath the snow,
beneath all the cover. You can discover
my love that's still alive-
still crying for affection,
still shining a dim glow.I hope it soon passes though.
It does feel like a long time ago.
I'm just sad my sunshine left,
I now feel very bereft.
