Way Back When - FP

Chapter 2

It's been a few months since that night at Pops. Since then myself and FP have hanged out many times by ourselves he even asked me to be his girlfriend and I was beyond happy that he asked me, he was my boyfriend but I told him that and he said not to worry about it that he has never actually dated a girl only saw them for a few days and that was it.

I was doing my homework when Alice barged into my room.

Alice: "your dating FP JONES!" She said with her eyes almost popping out of her face.

Me: "Yes....is there a problem?" I asked

Alice: "yes he's from the Southside!"

Me: " Alice we live on the Southside too, plus I never complained about Hal so leave me alone" I said annoyed with her

Alice: "I'm just going to have to tell mom and dad" she said running down the stairs screaming there names I followed her into the living room where both of them were watching a game show

Mom: "what's the problem Alice" our mom asked as she looked over to her along with her dad

Alice: "Quinn has a boyfriend...and he's from the Southside" she said and to that I had to roll my eyes again at her my parents laughed, they could have a stick up there ass when they wanted to but I guess that's normal when you have two teenage daughters but other than that they were pretty good.

Dad: " And where are you from sweetheart?" My dad asked her with a smirk on her face knowing she wouldn't have anything to say back to him "Now princess when would we be meeting this lucky guy? Why don't you ask him to come over for dinner tonight" My dad asked looking at me

Me: "uh.. I could call and ask him and see if he's not busy" I said and Alice looked beyond annoyed

Alice: " You were never this approving of me dating Hal!" She screamed

Mom: "Sweetheart we didn't even know how long you would even be with him if you would like invite him over for dinner to" she said looking at their dad who gave a nod of approval, thankfully our parents got us our own lines in our rooms after Alice wouldn't get off of the phone one time and we both got into a huge fight.

With that I went back to my room shut the door and made sure I locked it this time and picked up the phone and called FP.

FP: "Hello?"

Me: "Hey FP it's Quinn"

FP: "hey beautiful how's your day going?"

Me: "it's going okay...Listen Alice found out we are together and made a huge deal about it she told my parents who clearly thought she was insane...but they were wondering if you would like to come over for dinner so they could meet you....if your not busy" I said biting my lip hoping he would come.

FP: "Yeah that's fine should I bring anything? To maybe get an extra approval?" He asked with a laugh

Me: "uhm no I think you should be fine but Alice convinced them into inviting Hal too" I said knowing how they both don't get along I could hear the breath he let out
