Transformers Prime x Reader

Say Something ~ Ultra Magnus.

You wanted to say that it was just going to be a normal day at base, but honestly, how could you?

 Let's recap shall we..

(6 hours prior)

You arrived at base like any other other day, your guardian Ultra Magnus, driving you. 

When you arrived you stepped out and he transformed, walking towards optimus to ask if there were any missions he needed to go on. 

To any other person it would seem like he didn't care, however you knew better, as did he, deep down, he cared more than he'd let on and you admired that. 

You were about to go watch some tv in the human area when Magnus called you over. 

"Hey Magnus! What do you need?" You ask him, with a smile on your face.

"I was wondering if you would like to accompany me on a recon mission?" He asks you, however, he already knew the answer.

From the minute he asked, an even bigger smile appeared on your face, your answer was clear as day. 

You saw him walk towards the now opened groundbridge, you quickly follow suite.

As soon as you enter you're met with the most extraordinary view, a beautiful mountain embraced with the setting sun. 

"Wow..!" You say, speechless. 

You look you at ultra magnus and he offers you his servo, you climb up and sit on his shoulder, enjoying the view while he continues with the mission. 

20 minutes pass and it's now dark out, you had started nodding off when you hear beeping.

An energon mine, and it's close.

"Should we check it out?" You ask him. 

"It could be dangerous, however our energon supplies are low, this could provide the perfect opportunity to recuperate our team." Ultra Magnus says back. 

"Let's do it then!" You say. 

He walks towards the entrance and places you onto the floor.

"I want you to stay here while I scout ahead." Magnus says. 

"Yes sir!" You say, hiding behind a large rock. 

However, before he even steps inside the cave you hear this ungodly roar.

You both look up to see a dragon. 

"Predaking?!" Ultra Magnus says, bewildered.

Predaking roars loudly before descending upon the two of you, Magnus activates his weapons and begins firing, drawing predakings attention to him.

The two of them engage in an almighty battle,it almost seemed like they were at a stalemate, however things quickly changed when predaking swung his tail, knocking ultra magnus back. 

You were worried, not worried for yourself, worried that ultra magnus might perish. 

 You picked up a moderate sized stone and sprinted forwards with all your might, throwing the stone at the dragon.

He turned to you, anger in his optics. 

"Oh scrap!" You say as predaking charges up and spews fire at you, you feel the flames lick your skin, the pain was intense but you managed to hide just before you were burned alive. 

You peek over the rock, searching for ultra magnus, you set your sights on him and run towards him, calling for backup as you do. 

You feel slight hope well up inside you, that hope quickly dies however, when you feel something hard and sharp slam into your back.

Predaking had managed to swing his tail at you knocking you into ultra magnus and sending you both crashing into a wall, blood and energon spilled around you. 

Predakings tail had managed to pierce both you and Magnus, causing you both extreme amounts of pain.

But you weren't giving up. 

With shaky legs you stood protectively in front of ultra Magnus.

You looked back to see he had gone into emergency stasis.

"If you want to kill him, you'll have to kill me first!" You say spitefully. 

Predaking looked as if he were about to charge when a groundbridge opened up, optimus, bulkhead and arcee running through, they begin to fire on him, the collective attacks being too much. 

He eventually retreats. 

You see this and sigh exhausted. 

Your legs collapse underneath you, your mind going blurry, the last thing you see is optimus gently picking you up and walking through the groundbridge. 

(Ultra Magnus's POV)

I feel myself beginning to online again. 

All I feel is pain.

I open my optics and look around, I see Ratchet and optimus rush over.

"Easy ultra Magnus, try not to strain yourself, you lost a lot of energon." Ratchet says to me.

"Ugh, what happened?" I ask.

"You were attacked by predaking, you and y/n are lucky to be alive!" Ratchet says.

"Y/n!? Where are they?" I ask, sitting up.

"Please ultra Magnus, be careful!" Optimus says.

"I must know that they're okay!" I insist.

They help me up and walk me over to where y/n is.

I feel a deep sense of dread.

'This is my fault' I think to myself.

Y/n was covered from head to toe in bandages.

"Nurse Darby did the best she could, y/n is a resilient human, I can only hope they recover." Ratchet says solemnly.

They leave me with y/n and I can't help but feel saddened, their face was so pale and yet..they looked so peaceful.

I gently place a digit onto their hand.

"Please y/n, wake up!" I say, hoping they would.

"Say something!" I try again, more desperately.

When they didn't respond, I began to feel dread.

Sighing, I get up and begin to walk away to get ratchet when I suddenly hear shifting.

I look at the bed y/n was occupying to see them somewhat awake.

"Y/n?.." I ask.

They don't respond, the only emotion on their face..was a loving smile.

A couple of minutes had passed and still they said nothing.

"Please... say something?." ...
