Blind Sided ~ Starscream X Blinded!Reader.

Starscream was a rouge Cybertronian, you were a rouge human, so to speak, both of you were cast out by your own kind, you found one another in desperate circumstances and now you rely on each other.

At first you stayed away from each other, but that was 2 years ago, now, the two of you are inseparable. 

He brought you everywhere, whether it be to scout for energon or a simple recon mission.

Today was just supposed to be a normal relaxed day, just the two of you going for a night time flight, little did you know that this flight would change your life forever.

The flight started out normal, it was dark, the stars were out and the two of you were enjoying each other's company, you stared out at the night sky, sighing contently.

A storm was picking up, the thunder rumbled throughout the sky.

You closed your eyes, in complete bliss.

Starscream hummed in contentment too.

It was safe to say you were both enjoying your time out.

What you didn't notice was the black and purple helicopter following suite.

"Well Well, what do we have here?" Airachnid says to herself, she charges up her blaster and fires.

The shot clips starscreams wing, sending him and you spiralling downwards, airachnid stays in the air and watches you both land roughly, she leaves shortly after, leaving you both to perish.

You both groaned in pain, you were pretty sure your leg was broken, starscream transformed with you  landing in his servo, you began walking, or rather, limping the way you had both come from, the storm had gotten really bad, you could barely see ahead of you.

The thunder had now turned into lightning and each strike was getting closer.

You were both soaked and the rain was only getting heavier.

You made it into the woods, you were both in extreme amounts of pain, you were freezing and you could tell starscream was slowing down.

"You ok scream?" You asked.

"Somewhat, considering the circumstances." He replies.

"What about you?" He asks, before you can reply, a bolt of lightning strikes right in front of you sending you both flying backwards.

You aren't sure what happened, you can't feel anything, or see anything for that matter.

You led there for a while until you felt yourself being gently picked up, you faintly heard starscreams voice before your consciousness faded.

When you woke up you were greeted with nothing but noise, you couldn't see, you assumed it was dark wherever you were. 

"Y/n! You're awake! Thank the allspark!!" Starscream says joyously. 

He sounded exhausted. 

"Why is it so dark?" You ask. 

"What are you talking about? All of the lights are on." Starscream replies. 

"W-what but I can't see anything!" You say, panicking. 

You feel starscreams presence come closer, hearing him sigh made you feel grim. 

"I'm afraid that lightning bolt did more damage than I thought." Starscream says, you feel him pick you up. 

"So... I'm blind?..." you partially ask, of course, you already knew the answer. 

"Are you okay at least?" You ask. 

He holds you a little tighter, an almost comforting gesture, his way of embracing you. 

"I'm afraid I have been grounded, whatever attacked us left me with severe damage to my wing, I won't be able to travel anytime soon." He says, his voice laced with sorrow. 

You look up at where you assume his optics were, he looks into your eyes, now devoid of the colour they used to be. 

"I'm not sure what we can do, we're on our own here, always have been... but I do know that whatever else happens.. we'll figure it out together!" You say.

You smile at him and although you can't see, you know he's smiling back at you. 

sorry if starscream was a little out of character, I wanted to create something that showed a side of him that genuinely cared.
