I pulled back enough to see his face and all I could do was mimick the smile plastered to his face. he kissed my head and I immediately wanted to shout with excitement. I pulled away from the hug completely after a few more moments in his comfort to check on dinner. Liz came in.
"That smells amazing," She made an audible sniffing noise. "Too bad we can't stay for dinner with you guys tonight. We're headed to Jennifer Lipson's house for dinner tonight. Save us a piece, will you?" She kissed my head and I nodded. Mom left the kitchen and I assumed dad and Van followed shortly after.
"Well, that will make plenty for the four of us then. Except, if Tommy was crying like you said, he won't have an appetite." I shrugged grabing a nearby towel and folding it up to remove the pan out of the oven. I sat it onto of the stove and smiled. "Dinner's ready!" I shouted.
Judith came running in as fast as she could and haulted with a huge grin on her face, arms crossed behind her. "Someone mentioned food." I chuckled and nodded, grabbing the plates and silverware for us all. Judith came over first and made her plate. Tommy came in wiping his eyes.
"Hungry, Tom?" I couldn't help but like I predicted, he shook his head. He pulled a glass down from the cupboard and left the room. I cocked my eyebrow but just shrugged my shoulders and smiled at Harry. " Your turn to get food." He laughed lightly and grabbed the plate off the counter top and filled it just about as full as he coud get it. I fixed my own plate after and we headed back to the livingroom. Tommy was sitting on the couch with some scotch in his cup and a cigarette in his other hand and laid back on the couch.
"Ew. Don't you realize how gross those things are?" Judith's nose scrunched up in distaste as she next to Tom. She looked around the room a little.
"Yeah, but what do I care?" Tommy chuckled, shrugging his shoulders and Harry joined him in laughter as he sat down next to me. Judith took the oppurtunity that Tommy took a drink to grab the cigarette out of his hand. "What do you think you're doing with that?"
Judith just laughed and she dropped his cigarette down in his glass and Tommy groaned and we could all tell he was very angry.
"Are you joking?" Tommy clenched his jaw and looked at her angrily.
"No, I'm not. Cigarettes will give you cancer and alcohol will kill your kidney." She smirked a little and sat back feeling accomplished. Tommy just rolled his eyes, getting up to dumb his drink down the sink and throw the butt out. He came back him with his arms crossed and pouted like a child. "Grow up. I'm helping you live longer." He rolled his eyes and I stifled a laugh. The first person finished eating was Harry.
"Mind if I get seconds?" He smiled. "I've never had food this good before." His eyes widened and looked at Tom. "Don't tell my mom that." That made Tommy loosen up a little and chuckle. I nodded.
"Just make sure we leave some for my parents. This is their favorite dish. They'd be livid if I didn't leave them any." He grinned and gave me a thumbs up before going off to the kitchen.
"He is totally crushing on you." Judith chuckled shoveling food in her mouth. "I heard he asked you out." She said with her jmouth full. Tommy nudged her side.
