Yoshikis POVI looked in my rearview mirror as I was driving up to my apartment complex. The wind played with my hair as I tilted my head out of the window to see if I was in the right area. I turned off my headlights as I bumped into my parking space. I rolled up my window and turned my key out of its ignition. I sighed opening up my car door I got out, nearly tripping on the rough concrete "Damn pavement." I swore to my self. With a loud thud I closed my car door shut and started to the Front B door of the lot.
The lot I lived in had four complexes; Complex A; Complex B; Complex C and Complex D. Complex A apartments were usually the shittiest but cheapest apartments, with Complex D apartments being the nicest but most expensive apartments. Of course, being the broke ass highschool student I am I got the second shittest Complex. Luckily I don't live in Complex A though, those apartments are a living nightmare.
I trudged my way up to the door, sloppily pushing it open (nearly hitting myself in the face doing so). I walked past the lady working at the desk, not bothering to wave or even look at her. I made my way over to the elevator and pushed the up button. Once I heard the ding indicating that the door was about to open, I looked up, preparing for the awkwardness that awaited me. I looked up and to my surprise, I saw one of my classmates standing in the corner of the elevator, I reconized him as soon as I saw him.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Satoshi Mochida from class 2-9." he jumped at the sound of his name
"Oh um, h-hey." he muttered
"Hey bro."
I started to wonder, why was he here; does he know that I live here? No, only my parents and Miki know that I live here. "So uh, what brings you here?" I ask
"Oh, I, um," He paused for a second "I, uhm." I could tell he didn't have an answer so I interrupted him.
"It's cool."
"'Oh, okay." he replied. "Well since you asked me.., what are you doing here?" My heart dropped at the sound of the question. Should I really tell him- I mean, he is my closest friend after all.
"I uh, live here." he looked at me with a surprised look on his face.
"You what?"
"Well I-"
"No, no, I know what you mean, but why?" I could tell he sounded concerned
"Long story short my parents didn't like my deliquint ways and decided to disown me." I could tell he had a look of disgust on his face. As I was about to explain it more the elevator dinged and opened up. "Well uh, see you around I guess." Before I could leave he grabbed my wrist
"Wait," he said eagerly "uh, I know this might be kinda weird, but," There was a very long pause and after what seemed like ten seconds I spoke up.
"Spit it out Satoshi."
"Can I um stay with you for the night?" I was taken aback by the question; I could tell he was blushing slightly, it was kind of cute. "You know since, I have family issues going on right now and I want to avoid them as much as possible.... for now." I thought about it for a few seconds, why should I say no, especially to a friend who had relatable problems as me.
"Y-yeah, of course." I could feel my face heat up, but why; do I like Satoshi, no, Satoshi is my friend and will always be. Plus I'm a guy, I'm supposed to like girls, but what if I don't want to. We both got out of the elevator and made it over to my apartment (B3). I turned the key and the door was unlocked.
