Chapter 5

Yoshiki POV

I can't believe Satoshi agreed to hang out with me, over Nakashima too. It was almost lunch time. The more the clock kept ticking the more anxious and excited I got.

*ring ring ring*

I got out of my seat a little too quickly, making a couple people stare at me. I didn't care. I just wanted to see and talk to Satoshi. I wonder how he was doing.

Satoshi POV

How was I gonna tell Naomi I wouldn't be able to sit with her today. I mean, I sit with her a lot and Shinohara and her sometimes eat on the roof, so maybe today she wouldn't mind.

*ring ring ring*

I packed up my stuff and headed out, looking for Naomi. It wasn't long before I found her and Shinohara walking by each other. I made my way over to her while making eye contact with her. "Hey can I ask you something really quick,"

"Uh yeah, hey Seiko, you go on ahead, we'll meet you by the front," Seiko made a pouty face that made both of us laugh.

"Don't be too long," She said winking. Naomi giggled and tried to hide her blush. What was so funny?

"Uh, anyway, what'd you want to ask?"

"Is it okay if I eat lunch with Yoshiki today? He asked me and I didn't want to be rude and say no but I didn't want to leave you either and I just wanted to let you know and-,"

"Satoshi," she said cutting me off "It's okay,"

"W-Wait really?" I asked confusingly

"Yes, no one's gonna get hurt if you go eat lunch with Kishinuma," I was about too say something else when she said something else, "I should probably go catch up with Seiko, see you later?"

"Yeah...see you later,"

"Now I just gotta go find Yoshiki," I said to myself

"That won't take you too long," I jumped at the sudden voice and turned around, only to see it was who I was looking for.

"What? Did you think I was the boogeyman or something?" We both laughed at that "So, you ready to head up?"

"Yep,"

Yoshiki POV

"Wow," Satoshi was looking in the distance amazed

"Yeah, its pretty nice up here," Especially today. It was a little cool but the sun counteracted that. "So, what'd you pack for lunch today?"

"More like what did I get," It looked like he had something on his mind

"You okay?" I asked. What else was I supposed to do?

"Hm? Oh- uh, yeah,"

"You don't look so sure," I walked over to him "Seriously if there's something on your mind just tell me-" I was cut off by Satoshi kissing me, It was only for a few seconds but it felt like an eternity.

"Sa..to..shi," He looked glum at my reaction
He started to walk away when I grabbed him and pulled him into another kiss, this one longer.

After I pulled away we just stared at each other, until.

"I....I love you," Wasn't this meant for Nakashima? "I've loved you ever since the day we became friends," Why was he telling me this? "I've pretended to like Naomi cause I was afraid she would be mad and lash out at me, I was afraid that people would judge us, hurt you, and taunt me..., but, I'm not afraid anymore,"

Before I could say anything, I heard the roof door open. We both looked and saw it was Nakashima.

"Satoshi! Kishinuma! Didn't you hear the bell ring?" We both looked at each other and then looked back at her and shook our heads.

"But wait, it hasn't even been ten minutes, why did the bell ring now? Satoshi protested

"I don't know, but you better come down," We both nodded and followed Nakashima back down.

Why did they end lunch early? Did people even get to eat? So many questions running through my head. Did something happen? Did someone break in? I felt frustrated that I couldn't answer any of my questions. I just hope It's nothing to bad.

A/N

AHHHHH. I got so many feels while writing ;_;. But yeah I was listening to I'm not afraid while I was writing the kissing part and I just had to put the song in. An idea I have is to put in a song that correlates with the chapter. Let me know if you like that or not. Anyways I am on chapter 3 of Blood drive and I'm loving it so far.
