Chapter 4

Satoshi POV

It was only when Yoshiki was out of site that I'd realized how dumb I must've seemed. Go find Yuka? She's in Middle school not High school. I'll apologize the next time I see him. I'd just go find Naomi and talk to her. What else did I have to do? I saw her in view and gave her a wave and called her name to notify her that I was there, Shinohara was there too.

"Hey," I heard her say

I smiled as Shinohara whispered something to her.

"So, what are you guys up too?"

"Oh nothing," Shinohara said looking and Naomi "I think I'm gonna leave you two alone and head to class," After that she just walked away grinning as if she had accomplished something.

"What was that all about?" I said chuckling. As I said this Naomi was still looking at her as she walked off.

"Oh, it was nothing," She said smiling "So, are we still up for tonight," She said clutching her books.

I must've looked dumbfounded because she glared at me intently.

"Oh," We had an arrangement to hang out at her house tonight to study. How could I forget. "Yeah, we're still up for tonight," She soft punched me and we both laughed at it.

*ring ring ring*

"I should uh, probably head to class," I said
"Yeah," she replied as I started to walk off slowly

Yoshiki POV

I was gonna talk to Satoshi again before class but as I was about to walk over to him I saw him talking to Nakashima. I walked back to class having a sick feeling in my stomach. But why? He always talked to her, they'd always been friends, can't friends just talk to friends, but I knew eventually they'd be more than friends. I took a deep breath as I thought that. Why am I feeling like this? So many questions but no answers.

I shrugged off my thoughts as I heard the bell ring. I walked into class and sunk in my seat. Luckily, he didn't sit near me so I didn't have to keep thinking about him.

During the lesson someone behind me tapped my shoulder, I turned around to see a folded piece of paper in their hands.

"Someone said this was for you," They whispered. Who'd be passing notes to me during class? I unfolded the note when the teacher wasn't looking and read it.

"Sorry for saying I had to find Yuka today. I wasn't trying to make an excuse to get away from you, I was just caught up in the moment."

I looked over to him only to see he was looking at me. I directed my head back to the teacher and put the note in a random page in my book so the teacher wouldn't see.

After the bell rang I packed up my stuff and walked over to Satoshi.

"I uh, got your note," I said holding up the note in between my index finger and middle finger.

"And?" He said eagerly

"I accept your apology," We both laughed quietly after that

"Hey, wanna eat lunch with me on the roof today," He looked a bit questionable

"Well, I was gonna eat lunch with Naomi today," My heart sank after that "But I'm sure she won't mind," My spirits lifted after that.

"So, I'll see you at lunch?" I asked

"You bet," We smiled each other and parted ways as we went to our next classes.

I can't believe he actually said yes. I smiled as I walked to my next class. "Today's gonna be good," I told myself. "It will,"

A/N

I almost went with a completely different route for this haha. Sorry if this chapter seems kinda slow, the next couple chapter will be a little more eventful. And as I was writing this I remembered Yuka was in middle school. Idk how I forgot but yeah sorry on my part. I also started CP Blood Drive yayy (i'm in the middle-ish of Chapter 2). Also school starts in less than two weeks and i'm not even close to being ready for it oof. Anyways i hope you guys have/had a great day and i'll see you in the next chapter. Byeeeeeee (~￣▽￣)~
