Tyler's POV
I woke up to imidiate pain, I didn't care though. I turned the a/c off and started getting ready.
I showered, got dressed, did my hair, put my contacts in, did my eyeliner, and put on some bracelets. I made sure I covered every single scar with bracelets.
I also put on a thin MCR hoodie on over that. My skinny jeans put painful friction on my thighs, but I loved it. I loved every bit of the pain because I knew I deserved it.
It was my fault. I should've never said anything.
I grabbed my backpack and stuffed my binders and stuff into it. I slipped on some converse and got myself a monster. I chugged it and left the empty can on the counter. I didn't need food.
I started the long walk to school. As I started aproaching Darin's house I felt like crying. He stepped outside, carrying a duffle bag with his backpack and Mayhem followed him.
Mayhem quickly ran to me, then Darin noticed. He dropped his gaze as he slowly approached me. He handed me the duffle bag which I assumed was full of my stuff.
I started to speak to him but he quickly stormed off up the road. When I got to school I rushed to my locker and put all my stuff back in it. I put the duffle bag down in the gym locker room in my locker.
I had almost all my classes with Darin, and we sat beside eachother in all but 1. All of our friends knew what happened. Damien had explained it to them.
I hated my Math class, but I had no choice but to go. Thing is, we started projects today.
"Okay, we do this project in groups of two. But I have chosen partners already according to how everybody gets along in this class." Ms. Haines yawned. I hated her so much.
She read over everyone. "Darin and Tyler." She said as she continued through the list.
I sighed and raised my hand. "C-can I partner with somebody else?"
"No!" She snapped. I sighed and looked down at my desk. The bell rang a few minutes later and she called us up to her desk.
"I don't care if you two want to partner or not. You will do it! You don't get time during school to work on it either so don't even try that. Dismissed!"
I sighed, walking out of the class. We went to our lockers, then I went downstairs and got my duffle bag. I luckily hadn't had a seizure today, but I took my shot just in case.
He waited outside the school for me. "Listen, let's just go to my house. It's closer." He whispered. I didn't respond.
"We can just start on it now so we can get it over with. For your sake." He whispered shakily. I felt tears building in my eyes as he blabbered on.
Soon tears fell from my cheeks, but I didn't look up. He noticed as a tear fell from my face and stopped, grabbing my shoulder and forcing me to look at him. I forced my eyes shut tightly and ground my teeth together.
"Tyler." He whispered. I still didn't look at him. "Tyler." He whispered again, I still refused to look at him. "Tyler look at me!"
I opened my eyes. Mayhem brushed against my leg. "Show me your wrists." He said, forcing back tears.
"I'm fine."
"Then show me your wrists!" He snapped. I gave in, pulling my hoodie off and hurrying to pull of the bracelts. I showed him. Tears fell from his face at the hundreds of deep gashes.
"Listen. Before it's over... for good... can I have, one last kiss?" He said shakily.
I wiped my eyes, standing on my tip toes and kissing him lightly. "Goodbye Darin."
"Goodbye Tyler." He said as we reached his house. I didn't follow him in, I wasn't going to do the fucking project.
I went home crying, lucky my mom still wasn't home. I slammed the door as hard as I could, breaking down immidiatly.
I screamed as I clawed at myself.
Darin's POV
I slammed the door and ran up to my room. I didn't stop crying. I couldn't.
I stared at my bedside table, at the razor blade with dried blood. The scars from this morning still hurt. All of them.
I picked it up. I sat still for a moment. Trying to get the courage to just, fucking end it.
I walked into my bathroom, staring in the mirror. "Why..." I whispered. "is this me?"
I tried to calm myself down as much as I could, but the urge was burning inside me. I felt like the person staring back in the mirror, wasn't the same person I saw 2 days ago.
I was too pale. I hadn't eaten at all. I had forced myself to drink some water earlier, I had been trying to avoid dehydration.
But I wished I hadn't. I wanted to just die. I still held myself for a minute. As long as I could.
"Goodbye Tyler. Forever."
I put the razor blade to my throat. I hesitated for a second. I didn't put it down as I heard my bedroom door open.
"Darin?" Damien sighed. He looked over into the bathroom, seeing the blade held to my throat. "Darin please don't do it! Talk to me man!"
I didn't respond, I just squeezed my eyes shut.
"Tell Tyler, that I love him."
I gave up the urge. I pressed it into my throat as hard as I could, tearing it across as fast as I could.
I stared in the mirror at the deep gash, blood immediately dripped down my neck.
Damien ran to me, grabbing me as I drop the razor blade. "Please Darin your gonna be okay." He screamed.
I faded out of reality.
