Marianna and I were in our room getting ready, she was curling my hair while I was applying my light and natural makeup, with a smokey eye look with eyeliner that wings out. I already put my black dress on with my simple black flats. I am dreading this dance. Thankfully, I am not required to go to the game, because I don't want to get all sweaty. I can't help but think how cute Brandon is going to look in his suit, the two of us have arranged to meet on the beach at ten. That's the only thing I'm looking forward tonight.
"Done!" Marianna shouted scared my to death. My hair was softly curled and put half way up with a black bow. I looked decent enough for homecoming. I helped Marianna get ready, with her clothes and everything. In about 45 minutes we both were making out way down the stairs. Marianna is going with a guy she's been dating since I've been gone, his name is Chase, I think? I'm not sure.
"Com'on Cal, don't wanna be late!" Lena called from the kitchen.
"I'll catch a ride with B!" I called back to her. I thank Brandon everyday for not telling the moms about the kiss, it would defiantly question their trust for us. About 5 minutes after everyone left, B came down the stairs fooling with hi a tie, his eyebrows furrowed and looking confused. He looked adorable.
"Here, let me help." I told him, amusement laced in my voice. He jumped and turned to look at me.
"Cal, you scared the crap out of me!" He told me, obviously not mad, due to his slight grin. "I thought you left with mom's?" He questioned.
"I told them not to worry about it, I'd just catch a ride with you." I said walking towards him. I. fixed his tie, looked up and realized he was staring at me. Before I could ask what he was staring at, he grabbed my waist and pushed me up against the wall. Not even half a second later, he gently pushed his lips against mine, he pulled away for a second, and said "I don't know how I'm supposed to keep my hands off you tonight, you look amazing, Cal," he pecked my lips "gorgeous" peck! "beautiful" peck! "sexy" peck! "You're perfect," he whispered, and with that he kissed me, hard, and I got that feeling I get everytime he kisses me, or even touches me. I immediately reacted to the kiss and we stood there making out in the kitchen, with no one around, and honestly, I liked it that way.
After out heated make out session, Brandon and I got into the car and got to homecoming about 5 minutes late. When we pulled in the parking lot, I could hear the music pumping and kids laughing and talking.
"Cal, I know how much you don't want to be here, but please, for me, try to have fun." He asked obviously pleading. I smiled at him and nodded, we both got out and walked towards the entrance, but before we walked in, he whispered in my ear; "Don't forget, meet me on the beach at 10." And with that walked away. I walked in and the building recked of sweat, and alcohol. I walked around for a few minutes before I saw Marianna and walked over to her.
"Hey Mari!" I said with the best smile I could give.
"Hey Cal, this is Chase, Chase, this is my sister, Callie." She said with a smile, Chase trailed his eyes over my body, obvious to me, but discreet enough so Marianna didn't notice. I shifted uncomfortably.
"Well, Mari, have you seen Brandon? I've been looking everywhere for him." I asked with a smile.
"Uh, yeah. He just went outside with Talya, I think they're gonna get back together." She said making a suggestive motion with her eyebrows. I tried to ignore the out feeling in my stomach, but Marianna must have seen my face pale.
"Cal, are you okay?" She asked worriedly.
"Uh, yeah, it's just hot in here." I said with a nervous laugh. With that, I walked off towards the exit, in search for Brandon.
It took me 5 minutes to find Brandon. But honestly, I wish I never did.
