Love is something Sophie never really found important after she became the monster that could normally be found in the darkest nightmares of the mondaine world:
A Shade.
A black hearted, demonic beast without a soul. True having so much power was a hell of a lot more fun than being mondaine, but it's still not something anyone with the slightest bit of Common Sense would want to be.
Though immortality, eternal beauty, and demonic powers and strength do sound very appealing, and it always was, if she could only go back in time she never would have except the offer that was given to her by Ash in the first place.
She wished with all that was left of her heart that she could be back in the arms of her beloved Myrnin.
She sat on the roof of her New York appointment building thinking of all the good times they had had together.
Smerking to herself, she started,"Myrnin, my love, when I find you I am going to ring that perfect neck of yours. Then I am going to show you just how much I have missed you."
She relaxed, laying back in her chair and gave a soft sigh.
She closed her eyes and willed her thoughts to him.
