I woke up the next morning feeling like complete shit . I hadn't slept at all , there was to much on my mind . An to top it off Liz never came back to bed . I stayed up all night thinking about what Liz said an she was right . I understand Yayo had my back for the longest but that's not important no more . I got a wife an three kids to take care of now . Jail was last place I needed to be . My family needed me and they come first no matter what . The money was nice but at the end of the day it ain't gon keep me warm at night . My family came first . I looked over at the clock 5:21 I sighed rubbing my face before getting out of bed . I walked down the hall seeing that all the kids were still asleep . I headed down the stairs passing the living room that was still dark . That meant Liz had to be in the den . It was still dark outside so the house was the same cept for the light from the tv in the den . I stood in the door way seeing Liz passed out on the couch . I smirked at the fact that the tv was on cause Liz could never sleep alone without it on . I walked over turning it off before approaching the couch . I watched her for a second , lips slightly parted as she slept peacefully . I almost didn't wanna wake her up but this shit bothered me . She didn't need to be out here on no damn couch by herself . My wife needed to be in OUR bed , in MY arms .
" Liz . " I spoke trying to wake her up , but she was out .
" Baby .. " I spoke softly inching closer to her face before pressing my lips to hers . She stayed asleep but kissed back anyway . I pulled away with a smirk on my face . Even in her sleep she couldn't reject me .
" Liz baby wake up . " I said rubbing her thigh . She made a little noise as she stirred in her sleep . Shortly after her eyes slowly fluttered open . I smiled at her weakly getting small one back .
" What time is it ? " She asked quietly .
" Time for you to come to bed . " I said standing up before reaching out for her to take my hand . Surprisingly she took it and stood up slowly . The only reason why she didn't protest was because she was still tired . But I honestly didn't care . I didn't wanna argue anymore . I just wanted to spend these last couple hours with my wife in our bed before I had to go to work . I lead her back up to our room and she got right into bed . I sighed in relief before getting in bed behind her wrapping my arms around her . I finally felt comfortable , at peace . It was crazy how just a few hours without her made me crazy . I needed her . She was my rock . And if doing this shit with Yayo meant loosing her and my kids then fuck it . I didn't wanna do it .
" Ray ? " She called out in a hushed tone .
" Hmm . " I mumbled against her neck with my eyes closed .
" I'm sorry . " Was all she spoke making my eyes open .
" What chu sorry for baby ? " I asked looking down at her as she played with my hand that rested on her hip . She didn't speak .
" Liz talk to me . " I said sitting up on my side as she turned over facing me keeping my hand in hers .
" What chu sorry for ? " I repeated .
" For everything . I shouldn't have blown up like that . " She said looking down at our hands .
