The Secret Casanova ~A Zanvis Story

SEVENTEEN

Travis POV
It's been a whole month since the wedding. Vylad and Dante haven't been home since they went onto their honeymoon. My routine hasn't changed. Every morning I get morning sickness. Then Zane makes it up to me by making breakfast. I think he feels bad for me but I don't care.

Zianna has come over once a week to help out. I think she is ready for the baby now instead of in nine months, or eight months now. She has even started to help us with figuring out a design for the baby's room. Aph has helped as well, she is really hoping to babysit for us.

I can tell this will be a long eight more months. Besides me being the pregnant one, Zane has been worried that I'm not eating enough, or I'm not getting enough rest. I don't even feel different at all. Most people who are pregnant don't get much more than morning sickness for the first trimester.

I do remember someone warning me when I was younger that my demon side will fluctuate to different attitudes I will have if I was ever pregnant. I just hope that isn't true, I don't want Zane hurt at all.

“Zuzu~”

“What is it Travis?”

“I'm bored! You make me do nothing all day and you keep yourself busy!”

“*Sigh* And I have to do what to spike your interest?”

“I don't know! It's not like I had any ideas I'm just bored!”

“Would you want to go take a walk in the park then? I know I've kept you cooped up but I am just trying to protect you.”

“I can handle myself thank you. And yes I'll love to go to the park with you!”

“Then let's go” He grabs his keys and opens the door. He probably already planned on taking me. I got my shoes on and walked out with Zane following. The fresh air seems fresher after being cooped up for a month.

“You enjoying yourself there?”Zane asks me. Apparently I'm walking like it's the first time ever being outside.

“Heh, sorry, just excited. We haven't been out together for a long time.”

“No we haven't I do have a surprise when we get there tho.”

“What is it?”

“You think I'm going to give away a secret so easily?”

“Yes?”

“Wrong, now you will see when we get there” I gave him puppy dog eyes and then he chuckled while putting his arm around my waist.

Zane POV
Me and Travis walk to the park. I pulled him along until we reach to a section under the bridge. I had set up a picnic for just the two of us. And I still have a surprise for him that I will show to him later. He will love it.

“Zane! This is beautiful!”

“It's only a picnic”

“And you are here!”

“I'm not the beautiful one”

“Oh stop!”

I walk on over to the blanket and sit down while motioning for Travis to sit next to me. I open the basket and pull out a heat role. I open it up and there are tacos set up to Travis’s liking. I had a different bundle for myself but I knew he would like his own. I pull out jello, lemonade, and fruit as well. I hide the jello since my surprise goes with it.

“I can't believe you did this all yourself!”

“I had some help with set up but the rest was me”

“You still did most of it!”

“Yeah, I even made the food!”

“Your cooking was always best”

“Was?”

“Fine it still is”

“Dig in if your hungry” He grinned at me and happily started to eat his tacos.

Travis is done with his tacos before I do and I even made more for him than I did for myself. He really loves his tacos. He has eaten about half the fruit before I stopped him to show him the jello.

He looked at it, sees something and looks to me. Carefully he takes a fork and takes a round disk from the gelatin. I stand him up as I did. Took the disk, which was a ring, and made sure the gelatin was off of it. I kneel down in front of him.

“Zane…” He covers his mouth with his hands.

“Travis, I have loved you for years. And now you are carrying our child. Will you now take the next step and marry me?” I say in the most gentle voice I could muster.

“Zane… I-I d-d-don’t know w-what to s-say…... YES!!! I do Zane! I would love to marry you!” I slip the ring onto his finger and we pull each other into a hug. I never seen Travis smile so big or cutely in my life. This was the moment he was waiting for.

“Zane~”

“What~”

“So we now have to figure everything for both a wedding and the baby”

“I forgot about those things” I say jokingly

“Don't do this to me, it has only been a week. In a week I understand people forget stuff, but still. We also need to tell your brothers and everyone else.”

“If there was so much work involved, I might not have even bothered” Travis gave me a light slap for that, I deserved it.

“I'm trying to talk serious about it all and you are joking around!”

“The tables have turned”

“*sigh* Your right… I would do the same thing.”

“So Vylad got home last night. And Garroth is probably doing nothing if you want to tell them”

“Sure” I find my phone and message both my brothers to come to my house. Not even ten minutes later, Vylad, Dante, Garroth, and Laurence were at the door.

“H-hey everyone” A wave of nervousness washes over me. I don't even know why. I don't normally get nervous. Travis must have noticed since he was behind me squeezing my hand.

“Come in everyone!” He says for me. They came on and sat on the couch.

“What was so important for us to be here? Laurence said.

“Don't be so cold about it! They are nervous enough as it is without you being so cold.” Dante says to him.

I whisper to Travis, “Are you ready?” He gives me a slight nod and we face the group. They were bickering to themselves until they saw me and Travis stand up to be in front if them all.

“Me and Travis have an announcement to make.” I started off.

“You two are having twins!” Vylad says excitedly.
“No, sorry but it is too soon to know how many. But what we do know…”

“Is that you four are to be best men!” Travis finishes up. I give him a slight kiss in the cheek for thanks. It takes a bit for everyone to understand what we were saying.

“I never thought I would ever see my best friend as a mom and a loving husband” Dante is the first to speak.

“Be glad you are pregnant Travis. But I'm happy for you both anyways.” Garroth says with a smirk.

“I knew this day would come!” Vylad was crying out of pure joy, but Dante is still hugging him to calm him down. Laurence doesn't say anything but has a smile on his face anyways.
