As I tried to limp my mangled body up to the door, I saw a tall blonde boy with a lip ring reading something at the counter. I also saw a slightly Asian looking guy, about the same age, sitting behind the counter with him. They seemed to be about 18, three years older than me, and I didn't want to ruin their night by seeing me, but I didn't really have a choice. I could probably walk for another ten minutes and then I was done.

I put my hands on the door handle and attempted to push on it. It barely budged at all. I attempted a sigh, that came out as a small raspy huff of air. They hadn't looked up at all. Apparently that wasn't enough to catch their attention. I tried to tap on the glass of the door, because I really didn't have enough energy to knock. The tall blonde boy read for another five seconds and then looked up. The look of shock and horror on his face made me wonder if I looked worse than I felt, if that was even possible.

Through the thick glass door, I heard a barely audible "sh-t" come from his mouth. He knocked off about five things while trying to get himself around the counter. He ran to the door and opened it, grabbing me by the arm and taking me over by the counter.

"What the hell happened?" I just shrugged. That's all I could really do. The other guy sitting behind the counter finally looked up from his phone. His face twisted at the sight of me, and way more than his blonde friend.

I read the blonde guy's name tag. Luke. That's a nice name. The other guy's name tag read "Calum". I wonder how you pronounce that. Luke was rummaging around behind the counter. My best guess was looking for a first aid kit. And of course, he came rushing over a few seconds later with one in hand. "Calum, grab me the paper towels," he said nervously. He pronounced his name Cal (and) um. Not like column or something. Calum immediately scrambled off the chair and to the closet sized room about a yard away from his chair. He came jogging over with the paper towels and a few antibacterial towelettes. They immediately went to work on my face.

Luke wiped down all of the cuts on my face (and everything that happened to be busted) down with the towelettes as Calum wet down the paper towels with a bottle of water and wiped down my face, neck, and arms. It stung like hell. Then Calum ran behind the counter and grabbed a bottle of water and gave it to me. It burned my dry throat but god it felt good to have water. I realized that maybe I could actually attempt speaking after a few drinks. And I did.

(A/N): Hey guys! I know I don't have much of an... Audience right now so I don't really have to worry but I'm sorry for the short chapters. I'll try to make them longer. Schools out in 3 days so then I should have some extra time on my hands for writing!
