“Well, I’m guessing one of us is expected to dump him in a ditch somewhere,” Calum sighed.

“What? Why?”

“You got any better ideas?”

“Uh…”

“We have to get him away from here. We aren’t just gonna wait until he wakes up and then torture him in the basement or something twisted like that.”

“Though that would be the ideal solution in Michael’s opinion,” Luke added.

“He really hates that guy. He’s had to deal with him a lot. We’ve only had to deal with other drug addicts looking for their drugs, not that creep,” Calum informed me.

“Michael fake deals drugs. He gets a little and deals it real expensive to the stupidest people out there and then after a while when they decide to buy it in mass amounts, he takes the money before he gives them what they’re paying for and cuts off all connections with them. Quick money, which is needed when you’re supporting 5 people by money off of a gas station in the middle of no where,” Luke explained further. “And running the gas station too. It’s Calum, Michael, Ashton, his girlfriend Madi, and I. All four of us work at the gas station and his girlfriend works online.”

“Is Ashton seriously the only one in a relationship?”

“Uh… Yeah. Last relationship Calum and I had was in high school. I dropped out. We kinda had a little band going on and thats how we met Ash. Things didn’t really work out but we still hung out and ended up having to get away due to Michael getting into too many fights. Messing with gangs and sh-t, getting us in trouble when he needed help. Thats why we’re all the way out here.”

“Ash and Madi met when they both worked at some fast food restaurant. Ideal place to meet the love of your life, right? Haha, but Michael doesn’t really focus on girls. He knows how to get them but acts like it’s a total waste of time,” Calum added.

“Oh. Well where is Ashton and Madi?”

“In the house.”

“Oh, is the house behind here yours?”

“Yup. I’m gonna go drop the dude off somewhere now. Luke, you coming to help?”

“Yeah, I’ll be right back.”

Luke dragged the guy out the door while Calum held the door and after that they picked him up and threw him in the back of their pickup. Calum got in the truck and Luke talked to him for a minute before coming back. “So what’s your plan?”

“Plan? Plan? I’m expected to have a plan?”

“Well I figured it was worth a shot asking.”

“I have absolutely no idea where to go from here.”

“Alright, I have an offer for you. There’s something you need to understand though. Some of the trouble that we ran from has followed us. We have had to do stuff none of us are proud of and we’ll have to do it all again. It’s going to follow us everywhere. You need to understand that. Now, here’s the offer. You can stay here and we’ll feed you and provide whatever you need but if we need help, you have our backs. Once you’re in, you don’t get out. We’re all in this together. We need to take care of something, you don’t chicken out. It stays between us. We all have secrets, Jessie. Some may be worse than others, but none of them are good. Being a part of this is accepting that and backing each other up regardless. Now, not everything we do is… Legal. But that’s just another thing you’ll have to accept. You help us, we help you.”

I stared at the ground for a moment and then nodded. I looked back up at Luke and said “Alright. I’m in.”

(A/N): Hey guys! I hope you guys like this chapter, I think it reveals a lot and gives you a look at who these guys really are. (in the story, of course) I think this is something I’m not just going to drop. I love the idea and it’s really entertaining writing this so I’m not just going to quit.
