Wall of fire

"Wall of fire?" Everyone said at once
"Yeah Roy I've never heard of anything stupider." Wally said before stuffing his face full of food
"Have you heard anything that comes out of your mouth?" Artemis quickly came with a come back
"No? Why?"
"Because a 3 year old could say more intelligent things than you do"
"GUYS" Kaldur yelled "I think we are all forgetting the wall of fire that Roy informed us of earlier. Roy?"
"Oh yeah well it turns out some super-villans have teamed up and created this Injustice League and they've sort of made a wall of solid fire in a 10 mile radius. Which we're in"
"Solid fire how does that work?" Conner asked while handing Robin some food
"I think it's like a force field just much bigger and with fire right Roy?" Robin said while trying to hide his pain
"Yeah 100% correct Rob or thats what Batman told me. Are you sure you don't want some medicine they'll help you know"
"I SAID I WAS FINE!" Robin screamed
"Ok I'm sorry alright" Roy said holding his hands up in an innocent manner
"No I'm sorry I shouldn't of had an outburst like that"
"It's ok you're in alot of pain and you're ill and we have no way of getting you help" Roy said moving to give Rob a hug
"Hey why are you hugging him do you like each other?" Wally said while nudging Artemis
"NO he's pretty much my little brother so back the hell off Wally"
"I think you went over the top on the protective part of your older brother job Roy mind dialling it back an nodge... or two?"
"Shut it Rob and I'm sorry Wally its just this whole situation is getting on my nerves"
"It's ok I sort of deserved it"
"Yeah you sort of did"
"No one asked you Arty"
"How are we going to get out?" Conner said bluntly
"That my friend is a good question" Kaldur said
"So what do we do now?" Megan said while grabbing Conner's hand
Everyone stood there contemplating what to do well everyone but Wally Roy and Dick did. Wally was crouching stuffing his face full of food and Roy was sitting on the floor with Dick leaning his back against Roy's chest. They all looked at each other until Kaldur decide that as he was the leader he would have to step up.
"Now we will move nearer the border to see if there is a way of getting through"
"Wait you mean I have to leave my food" Wally said sadly while grabbing as much food as he could and putting it in his arms "because that isn't happening".
"Don't worry greedy the good news is we will bring the food with us the bad news we're bring you too"
"Hello Megan I should of thought about it earlier.... how are we going to move Robin he cannot walk by himself and if we move him we may be doing more harm than good"
"She does have a point. Roy any ideas?" Robin said turning to face Roy
"Well I'll carry you and if we need to stop we will"
"Ok" yawn "Maybe you should go back to bed little bro you need to save your strength"
"But I'm" yawn "not tired"
"Sure you're not. If you're not going to go to sleep at least close your eyes"
The team looked at Roy with confusion across their faces as Robin settled back against Roy's chest, but Roy did not argue all he did was count down from 5 with his fingers. 5 4 3 2 1
By the time he got to 1 Robin's shallow breathing could be heard indicating he had fallen asleep
"So off we go?" Megan said after using her telekinesis to pack everything away
"Off we go" Roy said while carefully standing up and shuffling Robin in his arms to better support him being mindful of his leg and the fact that he was asleep and Roy didn't want to wake him
"Heigh ho heigh ho it's off to the wall of fire we go heigh ho heigh ho"
"WALLY SHUT UP" Artemis yelled
Roy fell in step with Kaldur
"Well Kaldur this shall be fun"
"Indeed it shall Roy indeed it shall"
