AJ's POV

I called V, aka Yvonne, at around 8. She ain't answer, but she texted and said she was in the tub. I was laid out on my bed, waiting on her call.

"Hello?" She inquired when I answered the phone.

"Yeah, wassup?"

"Whatchu doin'?"

"I'm juss chilling, whattabout you?"

"Juss got out the tub, tryna find something to put on."

"Naw ma leave it off. You know I like it like that."

"Little boy get yo life foreal........ Bt hold on Lina calling me."

"Aight." I replied.

It took her all fucking day to click back over. Her and Lina must've been running a fucking telethon.

"Bae."

"Yess," I answered.

"Whatchu doin' now?"

"Chilling, thinking about you."

"Awww, what about me?" she asked.

"How good we gone look together."

"Bri ain't gone like that," she replied sarcastically.

"She ain't my girl, I swear. On my mama, I don't even fucking like her."

"Whatever, Aaron." She hung up.

- Come Outside .

I texted her that at 10.

"What you want?" She asked after she slipped threw the door to prevent it from slamming.

She had on sky blue shorts, striped knee high socks, and a half shirt with her hair in a bun. I slid my hand around her, grabbing her ass while I kissed her on her neck. She didn't budge, not one bit. She was still mad at me.

"Bae come on, I wanna take you somewhere," I said.

She rolled her eyes at me and turned away. So I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder.

"Put me down!" She shouted.

I paid no mind to her as I carried her over to my car. When I got in,  I looked over at her and she was still pouting and shit, still being a big ass cry baby.

"Where you taking me?" She inquired when I started the car.

"You'll see."

After like an hour car ride, I drove over the bridge and toward the lake. I peeped game to how excited she got when she seen the gates open.

"Oh My God! How'd you know?"

"Remember that pool party you went to in ninth grade?" I asked.

Her face brightened, "Who don't? I lost my favorite bracelet at that party."

I opened the glovebox and pulled a small, purple velvet bag, and threw it into Yvonne's lap. She opened the bag and smiled.
