remember when we met in the 7th grade ?
i sat next to you in science,
room eleven to be exact.
i was short and chubby,
barley hitting puberty
with acne covered cheeks
and uneven developing breasts;
which you made note of.
normally,
you’d think any girl
would be upset when a guy
mentions her boobs,
especially at age 11.
but you,
were the exception or maybe
i was just stuck in a daze
every time i looked into
your blue eyes.
